Mechanical Technologies is a full service HVAC business. We have been serving the great southwest for over 31 years. Licensed in Texas and New Mexico we provide all aspects off heating and cooling for West Texas and Southern New Mexico. We pride ourselves in providing service 24 hours a day 7 days a week 365 days out of the year. Our install crews and service technicians are well educated NATE certified and have been trained on providing the best in quality installation and most thorough service procedures.

My A/C broke down while hosting a baby shower for my sister in law on a Saturday evening. I needed a technician to show up as soon as possible. I didn’t want a house full of mad women at my house. Mechanical technologies was the only company willing to send someone over. The technician was very professional and went right to work. I will use this company from here on out. Efficient installation. Friendly customer service and salesman. Competitive offers with competing plumbers and does offer financing options. My neighbor did have to ask the installation crew to remove a bottle of urine left in the cul-de-sac when they were leaving.

The technician was knowledgeable about the needed repair, which was the replacement of the flame sensor. He tried to clean the old sensor advising that a new one was $180. The cleaning didn't help, so I paid the $180. I later checked the prices on line for this part and found out that they were as cheap as $3 and as expensive as $20. What a rip off!!! I know these guys make their living on commission, but seriously. And next time, use the bathroom before you arrive- very unprofessional.

The technician said that the part cost $250, and I looked up the price and it was $8.95 retail.. I contacted the store and sent them a picture of the part and the price on it. However, it has taken two days to get an invoice; furthermore, the price of the part was left off! I received a discount, but it was only about $100 off. I am a disabled combat veteran, and I feel like I was cheated. I also had to remind the tech to put my thermostat cover back on. I will never do business with this company again!

Having all required parts on in home installations, at time of installation would help. Also return calls a necessity. This was one of the issues. Coordination of return/ scheduling calls was insufficient between customer and field office!

Air Ducts & Vents Cleaning Service
Duct cleaning is progressing. The tech, Luis, is very nice and knowledgeable. The machine they use seems much more efficient and effective than the *shop vac* method. The company also does structural/cosmetic repair and we are using them to complete repairs of damage from a roof leak (ceiling and duct water damage needed fixing).

Replaced tank for tankless system. The representative, workmen & installation were all excellent. Price was exceptional compared to a local business's price. This is our 3rd time using a Home Advisor recommended business---it will not be our last. From carpet cleaning to home repairs to water systems; Home Advisor is the way to go!
