Stay away. He is completely a lying person. He said he inspected my roof using drone but clearly he didn't. There is big crack here and he has no pictures recorded. He will stop responding you after the inspect. Will definitely report him

Rob was amazing. Her communicated with us regularly and the report given to us was very thorough. Included pictures of everything he inspected with notes. Noted every problem. Entire report was 65 pages. Very extensive. So yes I would highly recommend him. Very friendly and professional.

Hired an absolute Gentleman and pro named Rob from E.R.A Home inspection. This was my first home inspection and he was very kind, respectful, personable, knowledgeable, and had a heart of a patient teacher. An absolute pro. He covered everything from top to bottom and provided honest feedback base on his professional experience. He answered every question and went above an beyond. Very responsive and gave great referrals. HIGHLY RECOMMEND, you won't regret it.

My realtor recommended this company stating that she always works with him. He did not do a complete inspection of the roof or some of the windows. My husband and I were with him the whole time, and he did not advise those important parts of the inspection were not completed. Now, the whole process is delayed because I had to hire another company to go over Radom, which was not complete NOR even offered the roof, and the windows. This of course will cost me extra money. On top of this, the sellers denied us to perform a second inspection, until my attorney was involved. The sellers attorney informed us that the inspector did not replace the filter door of the furnace properly while performing the inspection, which triggered a kill, leaving the seller without heat for 2 days... I can not even explain how frustrating this whole situation has been, on top of all the stress that comes from buying a house. I will report this company to the real estate company my realtor works for and to the Better Business Bureau.

I would highly recommend Rob from E.R.A.!!! I reached out to him on Thursday, and he replied instantly with prices, payment options, their testing options, and schedule options. We were able to setup an inspection for 3 days later!!! He was extremely professional and courteous, even waited for my husband and I to take our â first homeâ picture!!! He was thorough and punctual, provided the report within an hour. I couldnâ t honestly say a single negative comment about Rob/E.R.A.

Showed up on time , very informative, respectful and worked effectively. Received a comprehensive detailed report 24 hours or so after inspection . Iâ d definitely recommend this company to others.

Do not hire this person, we had to re-do the entire inspection with a different company and found extensive damage that was not disclosed in the original report. Rob scammed us by promising a follow up on a radon test and on the roof inspection, then walked away with $500 cash and no follow up. He does NOT have a license to perform radon tests and lied to us several times both in person, on the phone and in text messages. 1) Radon. Rob is not licensed to inspect radon. He told us he had placed a canister in the basement, then six days later told us he wasn't able to get into the basement to pick up the canister (canisters should be picked up between 3-6 days after placement, after 6 days they are no longer good). When we pressed him on his story about not being able to get into the house, he lied - told us he waited 30 minutes but we have evidence from text messages from the realtor that he waited less than 10 minutes. He also texted us the location of the canister "underneath a bucket by the door" but there was no bucket by the door or anywhere in the basement. From all appearances, he never placed the canister in the first place and doubled down on his lie after being caught out. We re-did the radon inspection with another company and found significant levels of radon in the basement - to put into perspective, the legal limit is around 4 and this house was 11. We are moving with a new baby, this would have posed a significant health risk to our family. The most important thing when hiring an inspector is trust, and we do not trust Rob after catching him in several (documented) lies about this. 2) Roof. Rob told us the roof was too icy for him to go up with a ladder, but promised his buddy would come later with a drone to take pictures. He told us the roof had some lifting shingles and would need to be replaced "in five years" but there was no water damage inside the house and no sign the roof would need to be replaced immediately, and recommended we follow up with a contractor for some visible damage on the front eaves. The follow up inspection with drone pictures was NEVER performed or added to the report, so he Rob didn't perform a significant part of the inspection that's of particular interest to buyers. When we hired someone else to check the eaves and roof, we found SIGNIFICANT visible damage that would have been obvious even from drone pictures, including holes in the roof, a crooked spine and improper roof capping letting in water. We also found evidence of water damage inside the house soaking into the drywall, mold in the attic, and a raccoon nest in the attic - none of it covered in the original report. From the attic, there are clear holes in the roof letting in daylight. I understand that inspectors can't predict every issue with a house, but considering that Rob obviously lied about the radon inspection and didn't do the roof inspection at all - not even the follow up by drone that he promised - I can't recommend him to anyone would needs an actual inspection on a new home. He took the cash and dipped, and the things he missed will cost us upwards of $30,000 to repair, not to mention they represent a significant health risk to our family. Feel free to contact me for more details, but I strongly feel this inspector should be de-certified and removed from the Home Advisor website and Angie's List. He is dishonest and takes money in cash without doing the inspection as promised.

Great turn around time after inspection

Well, I had to change my raving review about the company. I paid for home inspection, radon and termite and was only provided the home inspection. It was only until I emailed the termite, that it was sent over. Was it actually completed? I do not know. It has been 2 weeks+ and still NOTHING regarding the radon. Keep getting the run around after I paid for services. Now my realtor is contacted regarding it being lost and another placed in the home. Very unprofessional as I am within less than 2 weeks from closing. I would not recommend.

I hired Rob to do house inspection, oil tank sweep, Redon and WDI. Oil tank sweep was waste of money, as his sweeping equipment didn't even pick the oil tank. I showed him the oil intake and he was able to confirm. After the inspection, he asked for the cash payment before sending the report, which were supposed to be 'ready'. I had to sent several messages to get the report. Here is the timeliness Oct 1- 10Am: inspection Oct 2: basic report Oct 4: oil tank and WDI report Oct 20: still didn't get redon report I'm not giving cash/zelle for any future job.
