About us

More than 20 years in the southwest suburban area of Chicago has built us a strong reputation in, not only the recovery and restoration business, but addition and remodeling business. During the course of our business we have down sized to a smaller crew which allows us to spend the time that is need to our customers. We only take two jobs at a time and specializing in Basement remodeling only. We start by contacting the customer and spending as much time as need to talk about your Ideas and try to enhance upon them. We take detailed measurements and when done give you a floor plan, 3d renderings and a detailed material and labor itemized estimate. Along with pictures and references of previous jobs. We treat every job as if the work was being done on our own home.

Ed Calabrese and his crew were excellent . Ed was the only one who did a lot of the detail on the front end in terms of his quote and the only change on the back end was an item I asked for which was out of his scope. He had a great crew and made changes as appropriate along the way

Ed, Pete, and Andre were great to work with! The kitchen is exactly how I wanted it and Ed was very flexible with minor changes that I asked for along the way. Will definitely call them for any more remodeling work I need done.

I thought the team worked well together, did what was contracted (with some changes/additions on my part), and were very professional. Ed made almost every single one of the suggestions for my bathroom. My bathroom looks beautiful. I can't wait to remodel the rest of the house now. I will definitely recommend ERC Construction to others. And I will definitely request their services again.

MY SITUATION WAS A LITTLE UNIQUE....MY BASEMENT HAD BEEN STARTED BY A PRIOR COMPANY, BUT LEFT UNDONE WITH MANY MISTAKES. I FEARED IT COULD NEVER BE CORRECTED. HOWEVER, ED & HIS CREW @ ERC CONSTRUCTION CAME IN & MORE THAN MET MY EXPECTATIONS BY CORRECTING ALL THE PROBLEMS WITH EASE AND FINISHING IT BETTER THAN EXPECTED. HE WAS PROFESSIONAL, CREATIVE, & GENUINELY CONSIDERATE OF HIS CLIENT. THE PROJECT WAS FINISHED IN A TIMELY MANNER & EXTREMELY REASONABLE COST CONSIDERING MY CIRCUMSTANCES. WISH I HAD FOUND HIM WHEN I INITIALLY BEGAN THE PROJECT! I WILL DEFINITELY HIRE HIM AGAIN FOR ANY OTHER REMODELING PROJECTS IN MY HOME!

Let me first say, we are very happy with the work done and are even happier that it is finally finished. Not having much experience with hiring contractors, it was a learning experience, to say the least. ERC does very nice work and was able to make adjustments to the plans without a lot of trouble or additional costs. We did have a number of time delays, that were beyond our control. This is why I rated timeliness as fair. Once construction started, we would have liked to have more frequent updates on when the crew would not be showing up, preventing leaving our garage unlocked all day. Overall, it was a good experience, we love our new screened porch and 2nd floor deck.
