I'm resubmitting my review as it appears to have been removed. I had the misfortune of working with Ephraim in October 2017 for a roofing project. It cost me more than $9000 . Initially, he presented himself as friendly and cooperative. However, his demeanor drastically changed after I signed the contract. He became unresponsive and rude. To make matters worse, he damaged my chimney and refused to fix it, responding negatively and ignoring my requests. I strongly advise against working with him.

Efran, the Owner, is a joy to work with. He is responsive, congenial, reasonably priced and does everything he says he will. I would use him again in a heartbeat, and I am sorry I did not know about him before.

Efrain and his team are reliable, friendly and skillful.

What a great experience! ER Home Improvement has my vote for an honest, reliable and efficient team of workers. The work has been done on the day promised and the yard & driveway are cleaner then when they started. They worked on my detached garage, and when the house needs to be done, they will be the company I will call!

overall good experience. Roof looks good but only time will tell. Team worked hard in intense heat and got the job done on time, excellent clean-up.

Efrain is a pleasure to work with. His crew is hard working and efficient. Cleaned up daily. He even went as far as cleaning the gutters and pressure washing the siding to make sure he left the house immaculate! When replacing a roof, problems with the quality of the underlying plywood will inevitably pop up after the shingles are removed. Tack on another 20% to quotations if you know the plywood is in poor shape. Another tip, if your roof is low sloping, keep in mind a different product must be used to guard against standing snow/water.

Efrain and his team did an amazing job...did it quickly...cleaned up...and were very protective of our flowers and surrounding property. His team worked hard and were very personable!! Efrain gave me a competitive price and answered all my calls quickly and was WONDERFUL!! Will use for any and all projects I have in my home.

Overall Efrain is a fair and reasonable contractor which you do not come by often. Hired them to replace my shingle roof and they did a great job (well looks great will see how it holds up to the elements over time as it was just completed a few days ago). The only part I was not 100% thrilled about which might be normal when considering you are replacing a roof is that I still found nails on the ground after they used the magnetic roller. Beyond that the crew was friendly and very hard working. Would definitely recommend if considering replacing your roof.

Has a big attitude problem. When the door he told us to order was too big for opening, his solution was for us to buy a custom door and he'd come back in 3 weeks. We were under a strict timeframe to open our business. When we told him this was a problem he argued with us. Then his framer (who was very good) adjusted the door in 1/2 hour. He failed inspection for not putting up a header which is town code and in my original plan. He got upset with the inspector and had to remove door and put header in. At completion of job, he left it with unfinished frame. When I asked him to fix it he got into a huge argument with me. Finally his framer completed the job. I would not hire him again or recommend.

They did a fantastic job. They completed my roof in 2 days in 95 degree weather.

Efram did a great job. He also fixed unexpected damage under the roof and kept his estimate as is. We will definitely hire him for further work, including painting. Thank you!!

Efrain was the first person out of 6 that I interviewed and ultimately was hired. He was professional, prompt, worked clean, did even a little extra and did go out of his way. He wasn't the cheapest and wasn't the most expensive. The range of estimates I got were between 6200.00 and 11500.00. He ended up being just under the middle of this range. I found out his crew has been with him for many , many years which says a lot about his character showing he must be taking care of them. I ended up having to spend more than I planned due to added plywood. Only thing I'd change would be to know exactly what the added cost was going to be beforehand and perhaps givin a few options with that added cost in mind. Other than that I'd definitely hire him again for other projects, he knows his craft. One Note, Make sure if going with the Owens Corning That he uses their grey synthetic Paper not the cheap felt he used on mine. Also the better contractors will provide extra bundles of shingles for your storage just in case any replacements happen in the future. ER did not so I had to go purchase them myself from Lowe's and good thing I did the Black Onyx is being discontinued. Oh and one more thing, his crew seems to work more efficient when Efrain is around the site, when he leaves as he did the second day of my project was when things started to go wrong.

They did our job in the most efficient time, left the area sparkling clean, and suggested a minor improvement that was needed. Their quote was lower than the other option.

I hired Efrain last summer to do some repairs which included replacing a couple windows and a door. He also repaired some siding that was installed incorrectly by another contractor that I parted ways with. Even though it was not a lot of work, none of it was simple. He handled it all at a reasonable price...it was likely the best experience I have had w/ repairs around my house ever. Last month I was cursed w/ some water damage... I was very concerned because the damage effected everything from plumbing to flooring. Once again Efrain came and did an excellent job at a reasonable price. The job included, hvac, electrical, insulation, sheetrock, painting, siding ,roofing and the rip out/re-install/re-finish of an entire oak wood floor. Efrain handled all of it with ease. As a homeowner for about 25yrs it is very refreshing to find an honest competent contractor for small and large projects. I highly recommend Efrain from E R Home Improvement.

ER was very good. I had no debris left in the yard. They were able to do the work very quickly. I would definitely use them again and recommend them to anyone.

Great work and very reasonable. It was within my budget. The work was done the next day and no debris was left behind. So far no leaks!

They are fast, reliable and does good work. I had a long wood siding boards replaced by them. I was able to get an estimate within a few days and the job, a few days after that. Very easy to keep in touch with and responsive. They will make sure the job is done correctly.

Overall I had very good experience with ER Home Improvement and was satisfied. I dealt directly with owner. He went over contract and answered all my questions. He followed up few times with me over the phone. We agreed to the date and he promptly started on that day. His crew worked hard and they replaced the roof in 2 days. Roof size is approx 2500sq/ft. Quality of their work is very good. The only minor thing is that when they put back existing gutter guards some of the shingles were facing up instead of down and for some reason owner didn't fix it. I noticed it and pointed out to him. He fixed this later on the same day. Would definitely recommend this company if you need to fix existing roof or replace with new roof. Honest , hardworking and reliable. Thank you guys! Price wise, it was slightly lower than I got from few other companies. They used industry standard GAF / Timberline products.

Had an emergency - the gentleman showed up with an hour. great price and excellent work. the work was completed in 1 day and it poured for the next three days non stop. no leaks, gutters were draining as normal [which he fixed for me]. awesome! job well done. AM

Quick response to my call. Easy to work with and they did a good job! If I have another roof problem, I will certainly use them again.
