Rick Avey provided top service and had my best interest in mind- my fence repair only required replacing one post not two and other agents would have repaired for the extra charge and Rick was up front and honest the entire time - he has definitely won my business as another section of the fence recently went down and Rick was my first call - overall outstanding service from ER Services

Door or Window Screens - Install or Repair
ER Services is excellent. I called Monday Morning and they were here by 9:30 on Tuesday morning. They looked at all my screens and removed 4 to be fixed. They were back at the house by 1pm with the screens fixed and ready to go. After rehanging and making sure we were satisfied, they left with no trace of them being here. I will definitely hire them again.

I needed a handyman fast and found this company. They always say if someone is able to do the job right away, then most likely not very good. I needed a lot of small jobs done, plus a large job. If you do use this company, have them quote the whole job. That was my first mistake. I was paying $70 an hour and they were talking. When they were talking they would stop work. Also, Rick would call the guys working a lot, not about my job ABOUT another job. If he promises a certain day/time get it in writing. They left my house a MESS! EVERYWHERE! I was able to get money back.

"This job included, rebuilding a cathedral ceiling (refloated, textured and painted the ceiling) , staining several doors, removing can lights and installing decorative brushed nickel strip lighting over the fireplace mantel. We also changed the old beauty rings on the installed recess lighting in the living room from white to brushed nickel. All the lights were converted to LED bulbs with dimmers. The exterior flower beds were cleaned out and rebuilt using decorative landscaping blocks."

I highly recommend this company. I was in a panic situation - needed someone to do carpenter work to allow a free-standing range fit where a drop-in range currently was, plus install it, and I needed it done in just a few days (before the granite came). I couldn't believe how quick they responded. They gave me a quote two days later and did the work two days after that. That's really incredible. Plus everyone I dealt with were SO nice. Just so accommodating, fair prices and quality work. Hire them to do anything you need done around the house. I know I will the next time.

Installed deadbolt locks. Others need to be specific which sides the latch and key should go as it makes a difference when there is an adjoining bathroom.

Wood Fence - Repair
Ours is a complicated project. We are moving our gate from the back of the house to the front on one side and adding a gate on the other while moving that fence all the way to the front of the house as well. On the side of the house with the existing gate we are also having a retaining wall built the length of the house because that side slopes so steeply into the house next door it is impossible to mow or even walk there. We are almost done. The wall is built and the new gate is in, but the new fence on top of the wall remains. We should be done after Memorial Day.

Doors - Repair
Unprofessional, stained my driveway, patched ceiling crack , looks worse than it did. Now I have to hire someone else to paint the whole ceiling.

"ER Services was never told of any complaints on this job, according to our records from 2014. This was a job that required matching older paint. Paint matching can be a challenge and we stressed this at the onset and mentioned that painting the entire ceiling would be the best result but would cause additional cost. If told of any issue in regards to completed work ER Services will correct at no charge. We provide this exact QA/QC on every job."

Not only did ER Services provide a most excellent service on finishing numerous remodel tasks for me, they did it in a most timely manner. Their techs added baseboards, window sills, installed new interior doors, light fixtures, and electrical outlets. We had a walk-through the next morning after my initial call and the workers started that afternoon. I was so impressed because the workers showed up to work exactly when they said they would. The staff at ER Services proved to be knowledgeable, detailed, and professional. It will be my pleasure to use ER Services again.

ER Services responded immediately and was able to start my projects the next day. He completed all of my projects the same day. Very knowledgeable in all my house needs and questions. He gave me tips on other items of the house that I can now fix myself. We are getting ready to rent our house, and move to another state. I am so glad I found ER Services, I know I have someone I can rely on to take care of my renters needs.
