I was glad I found E Stein. I was helping my grandparents repair their basement from some water damage. My old man was going to let the wet dry walls and sunken in ceiling sit for 4 months or longer and I was concerned about mold growing in their house and harming them. I convinced them to go through their insurance. That was a battle, but I took care of the start of it and finding the contractor. Needed to find someone local, and who could deal with my grandfather's "charming" character on his "good" days. Their number was very fair; their customer service was fantastic; they communicated with the insurance company for me a couple of times and I didn't hear a word from them about it; they communicated to my grandparents every step of the way when they would be on site, when they would be leaving; and most of all, the finished product is great! Believe me, my old man did not want to hire a contractor and go through insurance to do this work. "It's just a waste of," "they only want my money," "I can do just as good a job myself," (after he recovers from his broken hip lol!), are just a few of the things I had to hear when trying to get his information from him to get this thing rolling. After E Stein left on their last day, I called him and asked how everything looked. I honestly never heard him sound more surprised when he chuckled and said "No, I don't think I could have done all that....." He even said he might hire them to do another job. Sounds like a satisfied customer to me.
