E.W. Blacktop & Concrete Corporation

I paid Eddie Wiegel of E.W. Blacktop & Concrete more than $14,000 to install a concrete driveway. He said he would order 15 yards of concrete, but only ordered 14. As the job finished, he had to mix his own in wheelbarrows to complete the installation. To dye the concrete as we agreed, he would have needed 20 buckets of Davis dye, but he used only 14, so the color was off. Due to these issues, he gave me a written guarantee for three years. Only 2 years have passed, and the driveway's surface is peeling off. When I called him about this, he refused to take any further calls from me. Resurfacing the driveway will cost $6000 and may not yield a lasting repair.

I am a contractor that needed a paving subcontractor. So far I have had Eddie pave two jobs for me and they came out great. We will continue to work together. Thanks Ed!

E & W Blacktop & Concrete Corp were very clean and professional. Last year I contacted several blacktop companies for an appraisal and they never showed up. The company I did hire kept postponing the rip out day. Finally I told them where to go. E & W kept their appointments and were there on time. The price I was quoted for the job reasonable.

Of the many contractors I dealt with trying to get this job done only one truly met my expectations of professionalism and that was EW Asphalt and Concrete. I had one no show after another with many of them, a few who acted as if they were being inconvenienced by having to talk with me and others who gave me prices more fitting for mall parking lots rather than a 2600 sq ft driveway. EW Asphalt was prompt, professional, knowledgeable, and thorough. I am extremely pleased with the result and happy with the price. EW Asphalt is a 5+ in my book. Thank you Eddie.
