THE WORST EVER!!! Edward gave us an estimate then raised it $2000 after they started because it was more involved then he thought. When they were done the driveway had low spots that held water and his solution was to come back while we weren't home and add another layer of asphalt (without our permission) that is now too high and extends into the road and causing runoff into the road resulting in us being cited by the city. Oh, did I mention that he caught my garage on fire and caused structural damage to it?!!!! The asphalt is also so high that it damaged the siding on my house. As if all of that wasn't bad enough it turns out the bond he gave the city was no good so we can't even go back on the bonding company for repairs. He isn't returning phone calls and I have until the end of the month to fix the problems or the city is going to begin fining me. I'm looking at spending $10,000 to rip the whole thing out to start over. He doesn't deserve the 1/2 starDO NOT HIRE THIS GUY!!!!

Ed was very friendly and knowledgeable. He had answers to all my questions. His estimate was very reasonable. After his company completed the work I felt I truly got my money's worth and then some. It was a great value.

Bottom line is this: they did an excellent job installing a new driveway and honored their price even though it entailed additional work due to an extra layer of asphalt in the old driveway. They did the work when promised, their workmanship was superb, they were customer-minded. Their prices were more than competitive against the 3 other quotes I had. I was impressed the company is now operated by the 4th generation of the family. They take the work to heart and do a first rate job. I'm usually disappointed in contractors and their workmanship. Not here, I give them very high marks in every respect.

The job was approx. 90% complete, but after 1 month they have yet to finish a small portion. We've called repeatedly, but they don't' respond. Started out great, but ended on a bad note.

Don't hesitate to hire these guys! Excellent work ethic from the entire team. They're very knowledgable and experienced and work extremely hard to get the job done right. I would hire E & J again in a heartbeat!
