The contractor initially attempted to clean the pool with chemicals - when, by the 2nd week, it became apparant that this approach was having minimal effect, he suggested that the pool be drained half way. He set it up to drain, but it was draining just a small trickle of water - I obtained a pump and drained it myself, down to one foot in the deep end, brushing the walls and bottom of the pool as it emptied. Contractor showed up a week later, added chemicals and said he would maintain it for the two weeks I was on vacation, and the pool would be usable when I got back - I arrived home & the pool is as green as it was a month ago.

Still working with him. His last trip will be this fri.5-16-08, hopefully for the final cleaning of my pool. He has been easy to work with as well as prompt to the job site as well as very professional. Will probably use him again in the future if an occasion arises for some serious cleaning
