Earthsafe installed a radon mitigation system at my home before we moved in. The system made a very loud sound and I called to get it checked out. The man who came was polite, though showed up at least 2 hours late without calling, stayed for about 5 minutes then said he had to go and would have to come back the next day. The fix (replacing the fan) did not work, and when I called again Janet said it probably just sounded loud because the house was empty. I called after we moved in for 2 weeks, left several messages and even drove to their location to try and speak to someone. I learned that Dan Blair, the prior owner, sold the company to Janet, and apparently the level of work and professionalism I have seen praise for is not continuing with the change of ownership. I never heard back from them and we still have an issue, so we will be looking elsewhere.

After receiving my check on first visit, the owner of this business disappeared, did not keep scheduled appointment nor respond to telephone calls. He essentially delivered, and placed a test kit. Nothing more. Up to me to close and deliver to testing lab. For $150 there was little value added. Could have ordered the test kit through the mail for much less.

RAD0N GAS ABATEMENT They were great, but there were a few miscommunications, due to their incredibly busy schedule this time of year. That is the reason for the 4.5 rating, rather than 5.0. I appreciated Dan Blair's honest assessment of another job unrelated to radon abatement that Dan came out to estimate.

Dan was incredible responsive to my calls and, as this was being done as part of the closing on a house I was buying, he was bale to help the current owners understand the issues so they were comfortable in having the work done.

Very professional and efficient. They completed the job in just over 4 hours and they kept me informed as to what they found as they were doing the job. The installation was done neatly.

Friendly and informative team. Easy to work with. I managed the job remotely, and they respectfully did the work in our absence. We can now breathe easy with no more allergic reactions to our house.
