Demolition
We hired this company to demolish and remove a masonry fireplace from our home. Jesus and his crew arrived on time completed the work as promised in the time frame they predicted it would take. They left our home as clean as they could. We're very satisfied with the service and the value for the price we paid. We would not hesitate to hire them again.

Jesus was great to work with. He explained everything every step of the way and followed through on all of the work his crew did each day. My project quickly became larger than was originally expected with excavation and placing french drains and hard drains around my foundation and sealing it so I will never have a problem again. I also added an extended driveway and a wall with benches around the other work and it never was an issue for him to complete. Professional, courteous, detail oriented and hard working could not have asked for better experience. Thanks Jesus and Henry

Demolition
I hired them to do deconstruction and construction due to Hurr. Florance. My issue is I realized he did not billed my insurance and billed me, so he received a payment of approximately $5000. I have contacted him a number of times over a two week period and all I get is an answering machine with the reason for my call. He is not returning my calls.

"We do not bill insurance Companies and have never received any payments from anyone but the customer. This job took place close to 1 year Ago and customer is never satisfied no matter how much we try. Discounted $1000s to satisfy but never could make him happy. now he comes up with after a year."

Didnt do what they said. As a demo company I would expect a much more thorough post job cleaning for residential jobs. Very combative with my wife when discussing damaged wood flooring.

"We strive to do a thorough job each and every time. COMPLAINT WAS ABOUT DRYWALL DUST ALL OVER KITCHEN, NOTHING ABOUT DAMAGED WOOD FLOOR. Other drywall work being performed in the home simultaneously and even after we finished. A homeowner in the Home the whole time we were there and never had any complaints. Wife comes back to the Home a week later and calls us with a complaint about drywall dust all over her kitchen. We offered to pay up to $100 towards cleaning as a courtesy. The customer wanted $500, we refused. This negative review is Bogus, just because we did not give them $500 for cleaning."

I had the pleasure of dealing with Mr. Scott Osborn, project estimator. Mr. Osborn was not only personable, professional and knowledgeable he was polite and always on time for any of the meetings we set up concerning the project. The team that removed the mold from my house was efficient and fast. I was satisfied with the cost of the project, as well as everything from beginning to end. I would definitely recommend East Coast D.E.S. to anyone who needed toxic materials or mold removed.

Jesus and his crew were outstanding! My husband and I were totally displaced from our house after Hurricane Florence. We had to move in with my daughter. East Coast DES removed nearly all sheetrock and insulation from our house and also flooring, including the subfloor which they replaced with new subfloor. There was a great deal of mold in most of the house. His crew scrubbed wood framing and dehydrated the entire house. Jesus called every few days to update us on the progress. When we went to visit and look at the work, the workers were very nice, offered us masks so we would not inhale toxic dust, etc. and walked us around, making sure we came to no harm. Absolutely superior work and attitudes.
