Nicolas Pelfry of East Coast Designs doesn?t pay his sub contractors

Nick is a con Artist.A salesman at best. My dream kitchen turned out to be a nightmare. Saved for 15 years to get shafted. The whole kitchen was not measured right and there are cabinets and drawers that open the wrong way, bump in the each other, and scrape the handles on the wood when you try to open them. My dishwasher is not even functional , he did not even put the brace in and now you have to open cabinets before you can open the dishwasher. I had a leak under my sink he would not respond to phone calls he had an excuse after excuse, finally he came to fix it with accordion type Plumbing. He unhooked my outside faucet and never hooked it back up tried to talk me into that I didnt need it hooked up but I had just paid a plumber extra money to have a spigot there. After he left, the whole plumbing job fell apart and I had to call a plumber in, (a real plumber) to fix the whole thing. He dented my brand new refrigerator and did not take responsibility for it he also never finished the job, never came back. Don't pay him the rest of the money until he comes back, and dont let him con you. Worst experience I ever had with a contractor. And now the drawers are falling apart the whole sink plumbing fell down and I had to call a plumber to come in and fix it they could not believe the plumbing job that he did.

Had Contract. Nick Pelfrey took my deposit. Set up 3-4 appointments, cancelled all, now he ignores my calls & texts. Has not returned my deposit yet

Professional, got the job done ahead of schedule, product and installation great quality. We would hire Nick, Jason and crew again.

From the start Nick was very accommodating to our needs. Once we went forward with the project Jason took over and was amazing. I am a perfectionist and Jason was as well. He was perfect for this project and we couldn’t have asked for more. The floors turned out perfectly. I couldn’t have asked for a better team for our project. We highly recommend!

Nick was prompt and gave us a detailed estimate. Jason did the install and he was meticulous and detailed. We are very happy with the end result. He also cleaned up at the end and left us with a very clean kitchen.

I simply can't praise Nick and his crew enough. They did fantastic work with a remarkable outcome. I love, love, love the floors. They were professional and pleasant from the very beginning. I want to post pictures but they're on my husband's phone. If I can I will upload some later. I couldn't be happier that we chose East Coast design and highly recommend them. You won't be disappointed. They went out of their way to help since we were still in GA, receiving a mattress and box springs for us so they wouldn't be returned. I wish every business I dealt with was as reliable and courteous as these folks.

I wanted to have one room redone at my parent's home with wood laminate but I had to immediately add more work and this team took care of everything. True professionals in every sense of the word. They took my mom and dad's house to another level and I know that the resale value of the property just went up. Quality products! Quality work! Quality people! If you get a chance to work with East Coast Design, don't pass it up.

East Coast design is outstanding ! They are installing floors, countertops, shower and other small projects. Nick who leads the team is outstanding . He listens to the customers needs, wants , etc. He works very hard and fast to get me the customer , exactly what I want . He is professional, customer friendly, and works well with his peers and associates . We added work to East Coast because of this exceptional work ethic. I would highly recommend them to all my friends.

Nick was very attentive to my calls and texts and kept in constant contact with me about the job. He gave me weekly calls to update me on what was going on and I appreciated that. As I found with other companies (not flooring) that you get what you pay for and Nick delivered a quality product that will last. Jason/James did an excellent job. He was very detail oriented and I could tell that he cared about that he was doing. He will always be welcome in my home and I will miss his presence. Nick is a stand up guy. Great work and very thorough

Nicholas and Jason were both extremely professional and kept us informed every step of the way. Jason did a nice job respecting our property and kept our home clean and free of clutter. We have 3 dogs and Jason was very accommodating with all of them. I would definitely recommend them to others.

We hired East Coast Design to redo the floors in our entire house. From the bid, to the finish, Nick and his team were very clear, forward, and communicative. We were impressed with the speed in getting the project done from design to finish. There were never any questions- Nick always told us how things would happen. The flooring looks perfect, and was laid by his team who clearly have experience with floors. We ve never had a large project like this, but wouldn t hesitate to use East Coast Design again. I would leave a con or negative If there was one. Didn t have any issues, and were impressed by the workmanship. 5 stars!

Great company. Nick was courteous, professional, and went out of his way to help with this project, above and beyond due to some issues that we had with timing. I highly recommend them and would certainly hire them again.

The reason I gave 5 stars was because 10 stars wasnt available. Anyone looking to hire a contractor Nick is the guy you want, this guy is the most efficient and cleanest Ive ever seen. When doing my job he went above and beyond his duties to make things RIGHT!!!!!! WE ARE VERY SATISFIED AND WOULD RECCOMEND THEM TO ANYONE, YOU WONT BE DISAPPOINTED!!!!!

Professional installation of plumbing and vanity; exceeded expectation. We already contracted with East Coast Design for the remodel of our Master Bath. Nick remodeled our Master bath. Did not return as promised to install glass panel support and seal unfinished corner tile seal.

We bought our new house online and moved from Pennsylvania. It would have been easy for a contractor to take advantage of someone in the situation. Nick is not that kind of business man. We had him come out and quote removing carpet and installing flooring. He was very professional and easy to communicate with. He was able to get me an awesome price immediately and the floor installed the next week. Jay the installer was amazing and very meticulous. Jay was not going to be happy or leave until my wife and I were happy with his work. Nick came back out and walked the project with me to make sure everything was up to our standard. This job went so smoothly, we are seriously thinking of making East Coast Design our go to contractor in the future. Thank you Nick and Jay! You guys rock!!! Lew and Heidi Lang
