I have used East Coast Mechanical for both heating and air conditioning in 3 separate residences over 25 years. This company is professional , timely communicates , offers fair pricing, cleans up and meets and exceeds my expectations and I am very particular how I want the work done.

Perfect as I expected and more. East Coast installed a central air system and a ductless heating and calling system in my house. They were much affordable than their competitor.

I hired East Coast to install a new high-efficiency heat pump in my house. The sales professional Dave suggested a Trane system that is efficient down to Zero Degrees and he led me through the process of getting a .99% interest loan to do the work plus a rebate. The system works great. We only had the system for part of December, 2020 and my electric usage went down by 36% with a savings of nearly $500 from my December 2019 bill. We have used East Coast for many years and have been very happy with them.

Sales person Dave very professional and explained all my options on types of heat pumps and air handlers available. I got a good price and warranty for the units I chose! The installers Chris and Travis were also professional and clean, I couldn't have asked for better! Great job well done! And it works great. I would highly recommend East Coast Mechanical

I really enjoyed having the work done by East Coast. They were professional, and when I had questions, they took the time to answer them, even if it meant calling in someone else, or coming by on another day to demonstrate some of the features of the system. In my book, East Coast goes above and beyond the contract to really provide customer satisfaction.

Both of our AC zones had failed. The office staff went over and above to find us a service appointment slot shortly after we called in spite of their having a full schedule that went out 3 weeks. Tyler, the ECM tech, was very professional and capable. He immediately diagnosed the problem and had the system running at peak efficiency a very short time later. Great folks. Would definitely use them again.

They did an excellent job! Dave was very knowledgable during the evaluation and the price was comparable. Their installation team were friendly, efficient, professional and were able to do it in only 1/2 day! I was very impressed and would highly recommend them. Keep up the good work!

I was hesitant to write a bad review, but after giving East Coast multiple opportunities to rectify the situation and no response from the owner when I asked that he call me, I decided it was time. If nothing else, their lack of concern over legitimate issues should be reason enough to avoid using them. I had used EC to do annual tune ups of my AC units last year so when I didn't have working AC in September and my thermostat gave me an error code that suggested the issue as with the AC itself, I naturally called EC. They did come right out the next day and I was appreciative of the fast response time. After two back to back visits, about 6 or 7 hours of labor, and the complete re-wiring of my HVAC, the tech could not give me a definitive answer as to what the problem was. He ended up swapping out my thermostat for a basic model in order to get the AC running. I did not pursue anything further until I was done needing the AC for the season. Once it became time for the heat, my heat didn't work. I had my oil man take a look at things and he found that when EC re-wired the system, that they made 2 wiring errors and I needed to pay him to fix EC's mistake. Once he fixed the wiring, I was received the same original error code on my thermostat as when I called EC the first time and he was definitively able to tell me what the problem was in an hour. EC charged a ridiculous amount of money for a wild goose chase and did not solve the problem and they don't want to rectify it. I would not recommend them and will never call them again.

Overall a great job. Went out of their way to accomodate us during the work to make sure the replacements were working as the work occured during a period of 90 degree days. Cleanup could have been better, but still above average. Minor issue is the dryer vent tube was dislodged and went unnoticed by both them and us at the time.

The job was completed cleanly and rapidly. The crew was amazingly professional. It's hard to spend this much money, but they made it feel like I was getting my money's worth.

I was very impressed by the technician and the work he did. Very thorough and though the problem was not 100% resolved it was greatly improved. Then I called the owner to talk to him about the issue and to compliment the technician. But after 3 messages left for him I still have not gotten a return call. Given that non-responsiveness, I do not feel I could rely on this company in an emergency. I might call again for non-emergency work, but will look elsewhere for service contract

They did major destruction to my attic. They cut structures in the attic and did serious damage. They had to redo the entire AC system and repair my attic which took months to complete. They hire very inexperienced technicians. The company did rectified the situation to my satisfaction.
