Started project beginning of April was told 12 weeks installed finally Aug. 3. June had 5 weeks so took a few weeks longer than anticipated. Understood some of fake rock was to be removed but left a broken one and had to re- glue. Just done today so don't know if it will hold. Had 1 front window covered and enclosed patio. As of now satisfied for the cost but not the timely manner and possible damage that may have been done. But product seems to be excellent. Will see next storm what happens. Previously had impact energy efficient windows installed so did not need them shuttered. All in all a good company and product but length of time from ordered and installation, extreme. If you're not in a hurry wonderful company and product. Sales lady Brenda Bragg was the best and followed up with me the whole time! Kudos to her!

East Coast Shutters, Inc. scheduled an appointment for June 14th @ 10 AM. On June 14th @10am, they were at the door. Fixed our shutter and left no mess. You can definitely depend on them!!! I would recommend them with no hesitation.

Contacted company to repair a shutter, exterior motorized shutter. Came out for the estimate, charge me $155.00. On that visit they looked and said that the shutter need new motor. They would order a new motor, would take several weeks. Came back 3 days later to provide the estimate on how much would cost to replace the motor. It was $415. to replace the motor. The motor didn't work, told me that we need a separate switch and electrician . They never followed up. I hired someone else, they looked at the shutters, they discover that the motor was not the same as the original motor. The motor was tested and was found defective, and the installation of that motor was questionable. I order the new motor so we can finish the job. In addition when I called the company about this issue, I was treated with disrespect and threatened to charge me more money to get the shutter to work properly. The $570.00 has ban paid in full and also I paid the new service provider.

I had Shutter Outlet install my storm shutters 7 years ago and had a problem with the large motorized shutter covering my Florida room. 9 months after the shutter fell off it's moorings and had to be repaired. This year it happened again and I couldn't get them out for weeks. Called East Coast (thru Home Advisor) and they came out and said it was installed improperly and used inferior material to mount it. East Coast took an hour to replace bad part and had shutter working properly. VERY reasonable on cost and repair men were excellent. Would highly recommend!
