Was impressed with the responsiveness of Jake. The service had to be rescheduled several times because of weather. Jake kept in contact and arranged for the job to be done on a Sunday. I was very happy with the quality of work done.

Jake came to give me an estimate, what is what I wanted. He did not try to talk me into additional services. Jake was very courteous and I think fair in his estimate. I was delighted he said he could do the work then. I hired him and would consider him for additional work if the need arises,

Jake and his team were terrific. They cut and removed over 100 10 ft. hedge bushes and thoroughly cleaned the area. They were a professional, polite and very hard working crew. Highly recommended.

I used Angie's list to locate Jake late evening. He called next morning, came out and gave estimate. They were to cut up and stack about 20 downed trees and 6 "leaners". I needed a day to get the cash/money order they needed. Jake replied timely to my call back and began work that day. I am very happy with his work, it was completed as estimated and very timely. Jake was very good about phone calls and making sure he understood what was needed for the job. I will keep his card and recommend him to friends and family.

WE HAD A HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE WITH EAST COAST TREE CHOPPERS. The owner Jacob Prine came to our home to give us a quote for Tree and shrub trimming in our yard. He quoted us $500 CASH ONLY and explained it would take him and his men at least 4 hrs. When we complained he said if we were so concerned about his quality we should have showed up critique his work. We planned to do this toward the end of the 4 hr. period however, he was done in about and hour giving us no time to be there. Instead, going to my wife`s work to collect the money, stating his receipt book was in his car but, he never returned with one. 1.His website states $120.00 per hr. He was done in 1 hr. and charged us $500 cash only and refused to give us a receipt after several requests. 2. He butchered our shrubs and didn't trim one of our trees. 3. He never showed up to correct his mistakes even though he was scheduled to. When we continued to try and reach him, with no response after several days, he stated that since we are so impatient he would not be returning. Jacob Prine does not stand behind his work and over charges for a job not completed. TO RESPOND TO YOUR RESPONSE: As you can see by his responses to negative reviews, he has poor customer service skills and gets defensive when challenged. A person who should not be running his own business due to poor customer service skills.

I was happy with their service. Worked quickly, efficiently, and did well. But, there wasn't a contract and he changed the price. Or he tried. He quadrupled it!!

Quote was significantly less than the others. Could have cleaned up a little better. Minor misunderstanding over quote (mostly my fault).
