Eastern Mechanical Services, Inc., began in 1985, as a complete building trades mechanical contracting company. Our management team has over 50 years of collective experience in the heating, ventilation, air conditioning, plumbing, pipefitting, fire protection and mechanical building trades. This depth of experience and technical expertise will give you, our customer, peace of mind knowing that our installation and service practices are tried and true. We are fully licensed in the state of Connecticut, and we are capable of planning, designing, building and servicing any mechanical system. We will work with architects, builders, engineers and owners to build any mechanical system in residential, commercial and industrial applications. We offer 24 hour emergency service 365 days a year as well as maintenance agreements. The principals have built the company with the idea of quality workmanship and customer satisfaction as the two primary motivational forces behind what we do.

This is the same firm we use to service our office HVAC systems. I saw on HomeAdvisor that they also do residential systems. I was not aware of that, and called them to set up a service call at my house. They set a time, not a range of hours, and arrived right on target. I will now also set up a yearly service agreement with them.

I was called quickly on Saturday and an appt was made for Monday morning. The Rep showed up early and got to work and fixed the two zones (I have three) of heat that weren't working properly. In just over an hour, I was up and running again. I felt the rep was thorough and will use them again.

They arrived on time and were very careful with the work areas. it's been 18 months and everything works flawlessly. The only issue i had was that they sent 2 workers and the second worker did nothing but watch the entire time. Not sure if we were charged for having a second worker. But we felt the price was a little higher that past jobs from other companies. But the work and customer service was an A+.

Stan did a great job and gave insightful details with the current status of my ducts and intake ducts. However I was not anticipating my budget cost to bust and pay 4x more than what I thought because of all the other issues Stan pointed out. He discovered dirty intake ducts that actually had mold and in my attic air handler. My air handlers were serviced but attic handler had mold in other areas that were not covered on my air con services.. Pricing to get it all cleaned busted my budget but again Stan was there to point out the dangers.

EMS is by far the most professional organization I have ever dealt with in the heating and cooling field. I have had my boiler and A/C serviced by a local oil company for years and gave David a call when they were stumped. David, Jim and Jeff were extraordinary. They fixed what I was told was a big problem by my oil company and fixed it quickly and efficiently. They work area was cleaner when they left than when they arrived. I couldnt have been more pleased. A few weeks later I had an issue with the Air Conditioner during a heat wave. Dave and his crew responded immediatly and quickly found the problem and repaired. I have cancelled all my mechanical contracts with everyone else and signed EMS to do it all. They have consistently exceeded my expecatations. I would highly recommend them. True professionals. I wasn't even a regular client and was in a real bind and they came through and helped me out during the first heat wave of the season. Very grateful that there are still vendors out there that care about customer service. The vendor I used for 10 years to service my system hung me out to dry. EMS called when they said they would, showed up when scheduled and an absolute pleasure to deal with.

Had a leak in the drain pipe in my cellar.They came out and inspected the leak and noticed I had other pipes that were cracking and "soft" to the touch.So they replaced the whole section of old copper drain pipe with updated pvc.Now no more worries.I gave 4 stars for value as I can;t really say if cost could of been possibly cheaper from someone else but I was satisfied with the price I was quoted it seemed resonable to me.Did an excellent job clean, fast and was very personable.Would hire again if any other plumbing work needed.
