HomeAdvisor never suggested Sunflake. Instead they listed other companies. The job request stated that electrical repair was required: pipe (mast) had separated from the 2x4 support on the house, 2x4 separated from the house, soffit got torn, and new mast and roof flange were needed (turned out that I also had to get a new meter & box). One company came out and stated they wouldn't touch the electrical. I would have to separately schedule an electrician to first disconnect the electricity before the other would do the 2x4 mast repair (to which the mast attaches), get the electrician back to replace meter & box, mast, and roof flange, get that company back to do the soffit and siding repairs, and finally get the electrician back to reconnect the power. My intent was to hire someone to do ALL the work, not for me to arrange to get it done piecemeal along with a prolonged power outage. I found Sunflake Electrical & Remodeling on my own with an online search. They did ALL the work, finished in 6 hours, and did excellent work. For the other company estimate of $3000 for just the house repairs, Sunflake got the electrical permit, did the house repairs *AND* did the electrical work, and even scheduled the electrical inspector. Had to pay half up front, so Sunflake could buy the materials and pay for the permit. Understandable to prevent them getting stiffed by a cheating customer. Very much liked their work, so no hesitation in paying them the rest. One day hope to get circuit breaker box replaced and get kitchen, each room, and garage on separate circuits and up service from 100 to 200 amps. Will look to Sunflake for that job.

Replaced electrical panel. Took some follow up but it is a busy time for them. Work completed timely.

Serviceman was friendly but not real sharp. I was also unhappy when I received the invoice and discovered a 2 hour minimum that I wasn't aware of which seemed high for a 1/2 hour job. I was given a discount and re-invoiced.

They hacked up my drywall in the process of installing the fan. They also offered an upgrade to a ?super quiet? fan. This fan is louder than the airplane traffic overhead.

I will use Sunflake again. They did an excellent job and the two men who did the work were courteous, quick and professional.

I must admit that we were very disappointed in many ways. It seems we had to watch your people at all times and explain what we really wanted. They were going to put the conduit five feet from the ground around the outside of our house. Frankly, I felt that would have been fine if I lived in a barn. I asked that they move it to the bottom of our siding, they did so but did not seem happy about it! Then when we were outside mowing Bernie noticed a very large electrical box and looked at. It was a commercial RV outlet box, one you would find in an RV park. We wanted a simple outdoor plug in! When we brought this up we were told they did not understand what we originally wanted. After they completed the job, we took a close look at the finished product and found that they did not seal/caulk the outside ground wire at the siding junction on the garage. They did not seal/caulk inside the house where the new conduit exits the house. When they installed the garage lights one of them hung crooked. When we asked that they straighten it, his comment was "well, your brick work is crooked"! He did, however, attempt to straighten it but I didn't appreciate the attitude! Again, just another disappointment as well! We explained how we like to see the detail and a line by line appraisal to you, but you did not do that for us either. It is hard for us to see where you gave us credit for any of the items we provided for the job such as the conduit, junction box, etc.
