"Glenn and Cathy were fantastic to work with. The communication problems arose with the rural Maple Falls location of their home and the poor cell phone reception up there. I constantly called and left voicemails, but they wouldn't receive them until they left the house and found better cell service. The increase in the final cost was due to additional concrete square footage that Glenn requested somewhat last minute. We take diligent and accurate measurements prior to providing a bid. However, details of a project (i.e. size, desired finish, etc.) can and do change due to homeowner alterations or requests. Therefore, we take a final measurement upon completion (whether it results in a larger or smaller project) and update the invoice. We DO NOT charge extra for change orders. We simply measure the additional square footage, apply the same price per square foot and update the existing estimate. Due to the last minute changes (the day of the pour), it was impossible to send him the updated estimate prior to the concrete truck arriving. We strive to meet and exceed the expectations of every single homeowner and contractor, regardless of the size or scope of the project."
