An outstanding professional and competent crew. They did an excellent job. Courteous and great follow up. I highly recommend them.

In 2014 I had my kitchen redone by this company. A couple of years later, all the of the doors to the cabinets kept coming loose. I would tighten, they would loosen again. I should have called back when they first started coming to lose and that is my fault. Now recently the doors have started falling off because the hinges have started to break. One nearly fell ON me as I opened it. I contacted Josh and they sent some men out to assess. Basically, when they installed the kitchen they used cheap hinges that only attach to the cabinets with 2 screws rather than 4. They are heavy doors. They said they could replace them with better hinges and they would let me know the cost soon. A few days later I get a quote for $787. To replace HINGES. Superior hinges that should have been used when they first installed the kitchen but I guess they wanted to increase their profit margin and give me cheaper products. I ask if there is a way to bring costs down or if I could just purchase the hinges from them. Josh then sends me a quote for $472 to replace only the broken hinges, which there are a total of 4. $472 to replace FOUR HINGES. The explanation I am given is because their master carpenter installs them. I again ask if I can purchase the parts myself and install or have someone else install. He tells me they do not sell them but he will try to get the name of the place they buy them from his master carpenter. Fine, they say they will let me know when they find out. I said I will reach out next week to follow up. He tells me not to reach out again. So with that, I can tell they just do not want to stand behind their work that does not hold up for even a couple years before it all falls apart. This company is not worth their inflated prices. While it may look nice at first, the quality is subpar and will not last.
Response from Company:
The State of Florida law requires all companies have a one year warranty on labor. If ERC had been notified sooner the parts would have been under warranty and replaced however ERC was notified after six years ERC sent out our Master Carpenter to assess at no charge. Upon finding out the client was unhappy with the hinges that they chose, ERC said we would send out a proposal to replace the hinges. ERC was asked to replace all of the doors with better hinges. We charged our minimum charge for that including only time and our cost for materials. This price is well below our normal charges for this type of work. We charged for a Master Carpenter who typically charges for weeks of work. We tried to help and offered a new proposal for only the damaged hinges to the client for time for only a few hours and our cost of material. The sentence about not communicating is not accurate. The client was getting very confrontational. Josh said to the client that we will reach out and get her the supplier?s information instead of having her contact ERC directly. Our Office Manager was also on the call and heard the same offer. The client has expectations after 6 years that no company can achieve. We agreed to help at a significantly reduced rate but the client became unreasonable and confrontational.

As a public insurance adjuster, I have recommended Josh and his company many times for water mitigation and mold remediation, and even have referred him for rebuild after a disaster. Always have received rave reviews from those I referred him to. When I bought a new house and needed some improvements done, I could think of nobody else to hire to do it. Josh, Tony and company did an outstanding job on my master bathroom. They re-tiled my shower, put in a niche to hold supplies and installed 2 vanities, mirrors, lights and more. And to top it off, he fabricated and installed a frameless shower door and window for the new shower. We are so happy we hired ERC to do this and would highly recommend them for any restoration or construction work needed.
Response from Company:
Dan, Thank you for your review. Our customer's feedback means a lot to everyone at ERC. Your tile and niche installation really turned out great and we are so happy you love it as well. Thank you again for choosing ERC to work on your home.

I was a bit skeptical regarding hiring this contractor after reading one negative review. This. contractor was extremely prompt and his work was impeccable. My driveway looks brand new. There has to be more to that negative review than meets the eye.

The gravel specified was not used due to "supplier problems". The product used wasn't even gravel. It was more of a grit.(got stuck in driveway with a 4 wheel drive) The contractor accepted the wrong product and allowed the product to be used. The work was haphazard and had little to no oversight. At my expense and time, I removed the wrong product and replaced with the right product specified for gravel driveways. After a 6month re-do (this contractor not used) - windows, roof, A/C, electric, plumbing, kitchen, bath, floors, paint....who would've thought putting in a gravel driveway was the biggest pain of the entire project.
Response from Company:
Mr. P was not accurate with his analysis. I sent a picture of the material of which he approved. With gravel it is a better idea for the client to see the material however he was out of town for part of the project. I also made changes on the project to compensate him for his trouble even though it was his choice. This is the only negative rating I received on Home Advisor. In the end he used the material.

Premier Florida Builders did exceptional quality work and provided exceptional value as well. They were very communicative and showed up when they said they would for every phase of the project!
