I didn?t get a quote prior for a sprinkler repair as he took over the phone from a vetted vendor, I have used prior. He is very proud of his skills and asks for a premium rate, which I was notified after he had started the project. He replaced 4 sprinkler heads, with one of them requiring some root cutting as it was at the base of an oak. This sprinkler was the reason for bringing him out and the others were suggestions and quick fixes. Ed asked for $450 for roughly 2 hrs but wouldn?t provide an itemized bill. He lowered the requested amount to $400 after we discussed the pricing. I paid him $300, which I felt was fair. I discovered that he came back out to my house and removed the four sprinklers. I would suggest looking elsewhere for a sprinkler repair person.
