Builder from hell: I have to add before I get started, if you need your home built, please. Just call someone to do it. Do not hire Eddie Watts to turn around and hire someone else. Just so he can get his percentage to get the job done. Because he does not stay on the job. It is only the person he hires to do the job, The electrician he hired did not GFI plug in our entire home, the county did not approve our home. If this guy was licensed you think he would have known it makes us wonder because eddie does not let you know whether anyone he hires to work in your home is licensed or not, The plumber messed up non-stop. We did not want outlets in our bathroom. It was on our blue plans that we had made and gave to everyone that was doing building for us. We showed up 1 day and had 6 different pipes sticking out the back of the roof. When they are I have only been to. According to the blueprints, they had to redo everything. When we got ready to have Stanley steamer come out to clean our new towels in our home. We were told that we should call the construction people back out because there was paint all over the hall. The painters did not cover the floors back up when they came to touch up. So our choice was to have it all retired because it was embedded in the ground. Or try to clean it over and over again. We were told that the painter should have been finished before the floor people ever got started. This was another one of eddies piss poor plannings. 1 day I was sitting in front of the house. Getting ready to get out The workers were on the right side of the house when all of a sudden. I saw the dumpster that they had right near a tree and right by the roof of the front of the house. A fire blew up out of the dumpster. I screamed all of the workers took off. Running and started putting water on it. Come to find out one of the workers threw a cigarette Bud in the dumpster and almost caught the house and tree on Fire. I also got that on video. Now.... If you are looking for a construction builder that will listen to you and respect what you want done in your home and come to the job site on a regular basis to make sure that no mistakes are being made.Then please do not call eddie watts. First of all, he does not know anything about plumbing electrical cement plumbing, etc. and is not qualified to be a builder. My husband was working 40 hours a week and then having to go to our house for 15 hours a week until dark. Everyday, there were mistakes nonstop. At 1 point, Eddie actually told my husband to meet the electrician at the house because he knew more about electric than Eddie. Did I have a text of that to prove it. Everything that is being said inside. This review is on a text Or a video. The only thing eddie would do is tell us not to complain to the workers because they would quit and he would not be able to find anyone else He is more worried about the people that he hires to do the job more than the people that are hiring him to do their job. What super crazy is all of his workers ask us to call them directly and not involve Eddie because he slows everyone down and is uneducated on what needs to be done. So, 2 weeks prior to our home being finished. We were told it would take 6 months, and we are going into month 11. Eddie submits his final check to my husband to clear it at the bank. He has not even given us our warranty papers. Things are not even finished at the house. The inspector from Mclennan county did NOT approve it yet, and he is already wanting his last check He has screamed and cussed me out several times, once was when he hired 2 women to clean my home for $800. I found out it was the painters wife. They showed up at my house with a bunch of kids and a skillet, and pots that they were going to use my kitchen to cook on. Why else would they have been bringing pots and pans in the front door of my house.

I told Eddie the painter had no reason to be upset that I was the one that was taking advantage of he said.Yes, the painter did have a reason to be upset.Eddie thinks its okay for the painters wife to bring kids and stuff in my house to cook while she was hard to climb This has been a nightmare from hell. I only chose Eddie because theres a house in moody that some of his workers were working on and that led us to him. He is unqualified bad mouth and clueless on how to build a home. He does not know how to do anything honestly. He hires the people to do it. He just uses his business card to get his check. Please do not use this man.I can not stress it enough I literally asked him for a discount at some point because so much was going wrong and he was never there to make sure things stayed running smoothly and that their employers were smoking inside my new $400000 home. I had to show up and tell them to quit smoking in my house. I caught people using my toilet. And one of his workers took a dump on my land and wiped with toilet paper left it there. An Eddie told me not to say anything or his worker would quit. Thats how he handles it. [Consumer Information Removed] He didnt even submit all of the charges to the bank for payments.He waited until after the fact.We have people coming to us telling us.We owe them and weve already closed on the property. The bank lady told us that she told Eddie that that was his responsibility that he knows better. Me and my husband that she told Its Eddie that he was supposed to submit everything.This is not his first rodeo.He knew what he was supposed to do.He just did not do it. I have. Videos of this man crying telling me that his relationships are not good and that he is apologizing right after he told me to get off of my own land and let the builders do the work.That was after I fired the cleaning crew that showed up ...

Eddie and his crew did a nice job enlarging a pass-thru opening in the wall between my kitchen and dining room. They cut the upper kitchen cabinets in half and re-hung them, and you would never know they had been disturbed. They look like they were always that way.

Mr. Watts and his crew were excellent. After the outside woodwork was repaired, he brought in a painter who managed to match the paint.

Got too close to my brand new wood on the deck and feathered the wood. Stain would not stay on because of that. Sent man back out and I was told the only thing I could do was deck over (paint deck). I was just sick. He sent another crew out and they took a sander on a stick and went over deck. Still bad. Said he would be back. Then NO ONE came back. Eddie didn't see project to end. Did not make sure I was satisfied. I hired someone else to come and do the deck over. It still looks like poop. Awful. All that money for a bad result! Makes me afraid to get help from anyone.

Very honest and does quality work?

Eddie recently built a pergola for me in September. Unfortunately it has several design and construction flaws and I am in the process of rectifying these with another company. We originally hired Eddie just to stain the deck and the project increased from there - he did a good job on the deck but the pergola is more than disappointing.

Very friendly and professional. Our gutter install has recently been tested and we have noticed a few issues that will hopefully be resolved by Eddie.

after the initial estimate he was on time and professional. needed to add 2 days to the project after running into issues that i had caused on the origional work up on the wall. after he fixed my mistakes the wall came out beautifully. he held to his estimate and came in on budget and as far as im concerned on time.

Did a very nice job with a tricky remodel project

I was pleased with Eddie's quick response on a holiday weekend. He resolved my emergency with a garage door very quickly.
