He did a very bad job. He cratched my new hardwood floor, and the plumbing was leaking. I had to hire new plumbing to fix the leak. He left the trash on the property without clear up. He unfinished the siding, gutter, electrical, window trim, and molding it takes almost two years to do the job. He wanted more money than stated in the contract. I would not recommend him to anybody.

Our shed was damaged when our neighbor's tree fell on it. The repair was done well beyond our expectations and we were told throughout the process when he would come and do the repairs since he had to coordinate all work with the tree service company. We will call him again to do additional work whenever we need it.

We consider ourselves very lucky to have found Gene, courtesy of Home Advisor. Our house was built in 1821 and we wanted the floor of our screened-in porch to be reinforced and the screening and screen door to be replaced. He had a much bigger project looming but thought he could fit this in and started the job. Unfortunately, it turned out that much of the framing and support for the porch was rotten, which meant that his schedule suddenly got more pressured and the job easily doubled in every aspect. Yet Gene remained professional from beginning to end, he showed up precisely when he said he would, he stayed in contact with us throughout, and remained gracious despite weather and time challenges. His original estimate was reasonable and his final bill was reasonable. We will definitely use him for future projects, if he is willing and available, and recommend him without hesitation.

My experience was much like others reviewed here. Gene came promptly, settled in and started working on repairing/refinishing our kitchen cabinets. In what seemed like an impossibly short time he was finished, cleaned up the workspace, and had time to do a couple of other "odd-job" kinds of things. His work was beautiful - the cabinets look like new! Others who looked at the project said we would need to buy a new set of cabinets. Gene said, "Nah, you don't need to do that." Music to my ears! I've already hired him to do another job.

Gene did a fantastic job replacing the rotted posts on my fence. And the fact that he was willing to repair it rather than push a whole new fence (like many of the other contractors I called) was another major plus. He did timely work at a fair price, and I got great results. Highly recommended and great to work with. I'll definitely be calling him in the future for any home repair projects. Thanks Gene!

I had Gene install my dryer vent from the basement up and through aluminum siding. I was very impressed with his work. He is a great man to do business with. Highly recommend!!

Gene called me shortly after my posting and we made an appointment for that afternoon. He completed the project promptly, neatly and for a very fair price. I then contracted for ceiling repair and had the same great response. Gene appears to take pride in his work as he well should. I will definitely contact him again if I have work to be done and have already referred others to him.

I hired them a year ago to paint my house. Just picked the colors and two weeks later my house looked like new. Extremely satisfied with the work!!! I get a lot of compliments from family and friends.
