I have been a loyal customer for over 15 years! In April I called to schedule an appointment for replacing all the pipes and boiler in my home. My house is 96 years told and although Edison replaced my boiler quite some time ago, my original pipes are old and disintegrating as well as leaking. Ryan came to my home on 5/15/19 looked around, took measurements, looked at all my radiators and was very pleasant. I told him I was looking to do the job in August and how much would it cost? He said he would get back to me on the price. I called him 3 times in July and when he finally did got back to me, he said Edison was very busy and I was looking at $15-$25,000 and he would confirm price with someone in his office. I received my yearly renewal notice on August 1st and called the office to ask if I should pay it or wait until the new boiler was replaced. I was told not to pay and I asked to speak to Ryan, who was not available. I called his cell on 8/14/19 and left a message that I had a window of availability in September and to please call me back to schedule the replacement. Today is 9/13/19 and I still having not heard from Ryan. While I struggled with the dollar range 15-25 thousand, how do you plan for that? ...I can only assume my years of loyalty don't matter and maybe my job was too small for them to bother with since Ryan told me they were so busy.

I hired Edison to replace my 22 year old AC system. Their pricing was competitive. They found rebates for me that brought the pricing down to my budget and for the price offered higher grade equipment than other service providers. All appointments were kept on the dot. The installers were very respectful of my newly painted center hall when carrying large pieces of equipment up and down the stairs. They cleaned up after themselves completely. On the outside of the house they replaced the old casing that housed the tubing that ran between the compressor outside and the air handler in the attic. doing this left areas of original white paint exposed on my recently painted siding which is green. The installer spent time up on his ladder repainting those 8 spaces with some left over house paint that I had saved in an effort to finish the job correctly. I really appreciated that extra attention to my home!

Did a great job, wish they had a drywall guy so everything would be complete.

I hired Edison to replace my steam boiler and install central air in the house. While the project is on going, their knowledge and customer service were outstanding, and the price they quoted is a total cost where all others required additional services not provided by the installer. I would recommend Edison for all types of HVAC work.

Very fast turnaround from initial time of contact. The people who installed the HVAC system were knowledgeable and efficient. They worked swiftly and helped move a washer and dryer in once they were done installing the system. They took time to explain the ins and outs of the thermostat (which is quite complex), and they left the job site neat and tidy. The system they installed, which we've been using for a month now, seems excellent, too!

I hired this service for a very simple repair. The representative on the phone assure me that I would not be charged for coming over to take a look at the issue. The person who came out the first time informed me that they would charge me for the replacement part ($10-20) and $89 for each half hour of labor. I was charged $164 for a 10-minute job. In short, I was charged for the part, about $44 in labor (thank you for that), but was also charged $89 for the "service call," which I am now told is the charge for the original visit. I am pleased with their work and the service folks are very friendly and responsible, but their language around their service charges is deceptive. Had they been honest about charging me to just come out, I would have considered other services.

"Very satisfied: I am very satisfied with the service, its what I have been looking for in trying to find a contractor in these times where its impossible to find someone. Even so the names I was given have been eager to non-communicative."
