I highly recommend Zach and his company to anyone looking for egress windows or basement waterproofing. He is hands on the whole time and the quality of work was far beyond what we had expected!

Poor communication, late, borderline dishonest and incomplete work.

He did a wonderful job digging, hauling, cutting, installing, sealing and applying the finish look on the outside. He does not do the finish look on the inside in that everyone is different in how they want this done, so that is understandable. He did all this in one hard day for him and his help. We now have a person he recommended coming in to do the inside finish work to the look we are wanting. We are pleased we found Egress by Ericson. He only does egress work, otherwise we would call him to do the other projects we have to deal with.

I have been so happy with the way they have communicated. I feel very confident in the way the install egress windows! I feel they are a great value for the dollar. I had 2 egress windows installed. Now I have 2 more bedrooms in my house!

I highly recommend Egress by Ericson. Zach replaced my existing egress window wells. Installed new timbers, enlarged the existing holes and even did some minor maintenance on my window's that needed to be done. Great value for the work that was done.

Egress by Ericson provided great quality at a very fair price. I am really happy with my new window. I had needed an additional exit for safety in my basement and they listened to my needs, quoted all code and safety requirements and then installed a great window! They cleaned up after themselves beautifully. Great customer service and great quality! Recommend highly

Fast and efficient. One of the best projects for your money.

After some misunderstandings between Zach and myself due to communication and scheduling, I have opted to go in a different direction. I must give Zach great credit for trying to make this unfortuneate situation right.

We hired Egress by Ericson to replace an existing window in a basement bedroom with a larger, code compliant egress window. The original work date was rained out and the work was rescheduled and completed later the same week, which was great, but they showed up a couple hours late. The crew laid down plastic in the house where they were working and walking, they also removed their shoes when in the house. However, they did not tent off the work area so dust moved throughout the finished bedroom the window was installed in which created clean-up work for us. Prior to work being performed I requested a Lien Waiver to be furnished upon full payment. I have yet to receive even a paid-in-full receipt, much less a Lien Waiver. This is frustrating because I explicitly requested this both in emails and in person. I would also have liked to have made payment by credit card and benefit from the rewards my credit card offers, but this is not an option. I had a difficult time reaching them by email and phone throughout the process. In the beginning the communication was great, but once they received our deposit I was not able to reach them until they had to reschedule due to the rain. Even then it was difficult, which was very frustrating because we didn't know when we should expect them. Overall, the work was good and passed inspection. A few minor key points would have made it great. Update and clarification: The work was completed 09/29/2017 and Egress by Ericson was not able to furnish a receipt or Lien Waiver at this time although I paid the balance in full. I was told they would be emailed to me in a couple days. On 10/05/2017 I had not received them yet, so I emailed the company and received no reply. I posted this review on 10/13/2017. The following day I received an email with the receipt and an apology. Later in the day I received another email with the Lien Waiver.

Only negative thing is that the final inspection for my permit was never scheduled. Even after I contacted him and reminded him to set it up. Otherwise, they were on time, professional, very nice, quick and tidy!

I would highly recommend Egress by Ericson to anyone looking for an Egress install. Zach was prompt in response, communicated and most of all performed high quality work. I would hire again without hesitation!

Overall very satisfied. Zach Ericson is professional, thorough and honest. He addressed everything right away and went above and beyond to make sure we were satisfied with our 2 egress windows. Everything was left clean, the windows were installed professionally, and there were no surprises with billing.

They have not completed work. We have scheduled them to do the work next month. Resend survey at end of July when the work has been completed.

Installed new egress window and replaced broken standard basement window. Zack was in constant contact throughout the process. Finished the job when promised and left the site spotless. Fabulous finish work on the interior. Would highly recommend Egress by Ericson

I had added an upgrade for a window cover. They originally brought and wrong one and said they would bring the correct one within a week. They did follow through and make that correction within the time specified.
