I hired Richard Livingston to create drawings for my house. The first thing he did was bill my 203k mortgage bank for the drawings. He took weeks to get me the drawings and when he finally gave us drawings they were completely different than what we had discussed. He had added walls and doors to areas that we never discussed. He just expected me to be okay with it and foot the bill for the added cost. I told him to change it back to what we had discussed. He never got back to me and avoided my phone calls. When I finally got a hold of him he said he had health issues and would not be able to work on my drawings. I asked him to refund me some of the money so I could hire someone else. He blocked my number and I've yet to hear back from this guy. AVOID AVOID, You will lose money.

Hired Eighth Ave to complete our remodeling project after bad experience with initial contractor. Rick knew exactly what was needed, and had the knowledge and expertise to get it done correctly. Workers showed every day, prompt communication if plans changed, he could always be reached when needed. Very professional, he understood it was our project, we were the customer, and he wanted us to be satisfied. Rick enjoys his work which is evident in the way he runs his business. We will be using Eighth Ave Property Consultants again.

The project is still in the beginning stages - I'll have to review again later. So far, so good!

Rick was very easy to work with. We changed /added some things to original contract during the project and it was not a problem. Nor did the changes impact the flow of the overall renovation. Rick is a very good communicator; he listens to what is said and addresses concerns promptly and professionally. We love the finished project and space that was renovated. And, the overall cost was extremely reasonable, without shortcuts on labor or materials. We are very pleased and highly recommend Rick and his company.

Ric did everything he said he would when he said he would do it. I made some slight changes after the project was started and it was absolutely no problem. I highly recommend this company
