This shop charges flat rates for their work. This makes the bill extremely large if you have two small jobs or them to do. You get charged for two service calls. When I called to make an appointment, the receptionist would not quote me a price, but would only say that the technician would quote me the price. Upon arrival, the courteous and competent technician said I needed two faucet cartridges to repair the two shower problems. He quoted $314 for EACH shower. When I questioned him about the price, he said they were a flat rate shop. I could barely stomach the $314 for one, but the same price for the second was completely out of line for a $40 part at HD. Bottom line, I wouldn't recommend using a flat rate shop if you have more than one job to do, like I did. The Einstein office did not mention they were flat rate. Good repair technician, poor business model.

"Most of Einstein's customers prefer our flat rate system. Our pricing is up front, with no hidden charges, and presented to our customer's before any work is started. Hourly companies could charge for hours of work for something that may take another plumber an hour or less to complete. Our flat rate system takes out these kinds of inconsistencies from each project, and lets our plumber focus on what is most important: fixing our customer's plumbing issues with quality workmanship. Besides Einstein's workmanship guarantee, our flat rate is another reason we have so many return customers. We also offer financing options, senior citizen and military discounts. Water Heater Installation and Replacement
The install wasn't an emergency, but Einstein was ready to go to work the very next day. Felix was very knowledgeable and patient in explaining exactly what was going on, and what was needed. He was able to answer all of our questions. He and Alan were very professional, and considerate in going in and out of our home to the basement where the water heater is. We will remember HomeAdvisor and Einstein plumbing in the future for plumbing jobs. It's such a relief NOT having to interview for projects, and being able to trust someone to do a good job at a competitive price.

Mike did a great job, was very professional, always prompt and let me know when he was arriving. The work was excellent and looked beautiful. He repaired a sink and installed a vanity as well as putting in a new toilet. All were done to my satisfaction and very timely.

A company is only as good as their personnel, Kenny is good. He was very personable, knowledgeable, efficient and neat. He diagnosed our problems gave us our options and completed the job within 2 hours. If I had another plumbing issue I would hire Einstein Pros...and I would request Kenny.

Prompt and highly overpriced plumber. Wanted $660 for installation of kitchen faucet, water filter and disposal. This estimate was only provided after they had arrived and did not include parts. Spent $33 for on site quote then performed all the work ourselves.

Gas Piping
Your company saved us, Allen is wonderful and I will always remember our experience with your company as positive. I originally called to run a new gas line because I was having a hard time finding a plumbing company that had time to do both. Most companies were out two to three weeks and we already had gone one week without hot water. Allen came out the same day I called and completed all of the work. He ran a new gas line, new (to code/safer) gas lines to our fireplaces, connecting a new furnace to the gas line, moving our water shut off and installing a new hot water heater. Thank you
