Outdoor Lighting Plan and Installation
Good experience. The electrician was able to diagnose the problem quickly. The only reason for the lower rating was the cost, which we thought was high for installing a timer on our front porch lites.

We did not get the service we wanted from this company because they were unprofessional and unprepared to complete the work. They asked my husband to assist them when we were going to pay $125 for the first hour. We did not have to pay them because they weren't here for an hour, more like 15 minutes before they said they needed to leave and get a tool. I guess that's what happens when you show up in a car and not a work truck. My husband had no idea who was pulling in our driveway when this company arrived. We were very disappointed and surprised this company was recommended by HomeAdvisor whom we use often and can usually trust.

"I was accessing the job while getting to know a customer and I asked them to tell me when an appliance went off while I was clicking breakers. Simple. I was close to my home and "forgot" a tool. The customer wanted to get dressed. Really, going to get the tool was an excuse to let the customer get dressed and wake up. By the way HE was a nice gentleman. If I would have showed up in the afternoon it would have been a different story all together. All the sudden I was working him. Go figure. In my 1 year with Home Advisor I have asked for 1 review and stopped. Just something I don't bother clients with. I notice everyone has about 100 or more reviews and I'm sure they ask for all."

Electrician, was GREAT! Knowledgeable, Customer focused, and efficient. The hourly rate of $75 per hour was acceptable. The service charge of $175 for showing up was OUTRAGEOUS!. Add to that, I was never initially told by Scott, the owner, this cost. I had expected, from other contractors I has used, about $75 - $100 "show-up" charge. I paid the bill and was told I would be sent an invoice (I have yet to receive it). My fault too, for not asking in advance.

We are very happy with the work Scotty and his crew did. We moved into this house about 6 months ago. The home inspector failed to see that it was an electrical disaster. The previous owner did some shady electrical work that we didn’t catch until after we moved in. It had a 40 year old power panel that threw breakers anytime the oven, microwave,or dishwasher were used. Scotty came in and put a new panel and breakers in. He wired everything the way it was supposed to be and made it safe. He also added a couple exterior outlets on the porch. We couldn’t be happier with everything. He’s professional, thorough, and fair.
