Elevate Construction

I would not recommend this guy.

This was a total rip off. I paid a 50% deposit (over $4000) in June 2019 for a replacement deck. My contact Laren Newell kept stringing me along. Contract was for Plan, Permits, Materials, Demolition of old deck and build of new deck. Almost nothing happened. They did send a roll away Dumpster, but after two months, I ended up doing the demolition myself so I could get the roll away removed. The sent someone out to do the plan, but what I got was a scetch on graph paper that wouldn't get a C grade in shop class. To get HOA approval I had to translate the specs to a blueprint using a simple online tool. The reason for this is Laren from Elevate finally told me he needed HOA approval to get county permits. I got the HOA approval myself. That exhausted the excuses and Elevate has since ghosted me. Called the Owner, Jason Davis twice and left messages asking if he intended to complete the project. No response. Ill be taking this up with the county DA and the Attorney General. Bottom line, my experience is not unique based on RECENT reviews here and elsewhere. Avoid these folks.

I had two projects by Elevate Construction under contract on April 29, 2019. 75% payment was paid for both projects. Project ONE was complete but after the payment was received for 25% of the second project, the work has not been complete - 4 months later. I leave voice messages and e-mails, the company does not respond. No answers, unfinished projects and owing others $$ is the problem. Do not use this contracting / construction company.

I hired elevate construction to replace my roof and install skylights. The kitchen skylights were not installed properly and have continued to leak for about 2 years. I have had them come out on several occasions and they continue to leak. I have attempted to call Jason Davis by phone, text and I even called his office and left messages. I have not had a response for several weeks. All I want are my skylights fixed and trust me I will not contact elevate construction again!!

Jason took my deposit a year ago. No work has been started, he kept saying that the county had not approved my plans, however, when I called Arapahoe county no plans have ever been submitted (which he charged me $7600 for). They had never heard his name and said they had not delayed anything. He has taken $35,134.50 in deposits and a year later NOTHING has been started. He started 2 other jobs for me last year. He charged me for permits and plans but now I have a STOP WORK order from the county and all the work he has started sits incomplete, with no end in sight. When I demanded my deposit back for additional work he contacted an attorney and will not respond to my requests. I have now found out that he has done this to others and is trying to take deposits from new customers to finish old customers work. STAY AWAY... there are honest contractors out there.

Started the project to be completed prior to summer. Signed agreement in February and the projection was 7 weeks out. Was suppose to start construction in Mid to end of April. It is now July and only half finished. Could not get information from them on schedule. Construction actually started in June and a month later still not done. The project was a ground level deck with concrete pad.

Jason and his crew are professional, creative, hard-working, friendly, and kept the area clean while replacing/building our 1380 sq ft deck. With the demolition of the existing deck they encountered problems with existing pillars so ripped them out, replaced and added additional ones for extra support for the hot tub and fire pit. They put in new beams and steel joists, new Trex decking, glass railings, new stucco and rock walls, built-in grilling area, tore out 3 large picture windows to put in a new glass door wall, and added a new roof that fits into our home like it was originally built that way. The deck is over a walkout basement patio so with the addition of under decking we have two outdoor spaces! Both areas turned out beautifully and we couldn't be happier! Would hire them again in a heartbeat!

Arron was our program manager and did an amazing job working with us, keeping us up to date on the status of the project. Despite the challenges of the weather, the construction guys were able to finish our porch and get the concrete pad pour before winter. Highly recommend these guys!

All members of the Elevate construction family were professional, talented in their job from demolition, new Trex deck, concrete and painting. Each one went over and beyond any expectation. Absolutely the best construction company I have dealt with.

We hired Elevate to build 3 new decks and then stain our home. Aaron and the Elevate team delivered high-quality construction in a very timely manner with excellent communication. We were especially impressed with their teamwork. We plan to use Elevate for future home renovation projects!

Aaron and the team at Elevate were very professional to work with. They communicated all phases of the project well and helped us to over come all the obstacles that popped up along the way.They removed our old deck neatly and safely.They designed and built a custom deck and covered patio area that is awesome. We receive unsolicited complements from neighbors all the time.

The people at Elevate Construction are wonderful to work with - especially Aaron. The estimate was less than the other quotes we received, and included better materials; but that was because the other companies lied to me about the necessity of doing a couple of things - like changing the stairs to meet code. I checked with the building department to make sure they weren't leading me astray, and it was confirmed that the others were just adding work to increase their bid. The start of the project was delayed by a couple of crazy turns of events, but communication was great and I always knew the status. As with most major projects, there were a couple of "missteps" that resulted in damage, but by the time I even knew about it, they had already begun the process of ordering the repairs. I wasn't happy with some of the stone work, so they had the stone mason come back the next day and fix it. And finally, before they collected the final payment, they wanted to make sure that every detail was approved by me. The materials and workmanship are wonderful. When all was said and done, and I made the final payment, I ended up paying about $900 less than they quoted. when is the last time you heard of that?

We are so very happy with Elevate Construction! We initially got other quotes that were in the same range, but went with our gut feel and we have not been disappointed. From the quick response to a quote request, to the multiple design meetings and their patience in answering my bazillion questions… they exceeded our expectations. Every single person to visit our job site – from owner Jason, Clint, our project manager Toby and the awesome crew of Nick, Ben, James, Chino, Ryan, Chaz and DeWayne – was super nice and always willing to explain something if asked. And those hard workers were there during a month of rain and even snow and cold conditions. Seriously dedicated people tore down our wood decks and re-built beyond gorgeous Trex transcend decks totaling about 1400 sq ft. We are getting rave reviews and thumbs up from the golfers on our fairway, and they all want to know who to call…. Elevate Construction! Just do it.

Elevate Construction was the only team we found who's sub-contractors work directly for them! Consequently, scheduling and predictability were always predictable. They have a lot of experience working with high-end homes and they all seem to "get it," that the home owner expects the highest level of quality and workmanship. They contacted me, daily, to let me know what was going on, and what was next. A signed contract before the start date took the guess-work out of the final cost, it was correct to the penny. They weren't the cheapest estimate, but the quality of materials, quality of work on the framing, drywall, plumbing, electrical, texturing, paint, and trim was outstanding and well worth the money. I feel like I got an amazing new basement, and that I also made some new friends... Thank you Jason, Aaron, Clint, Danny, Tony, Tom, Jeremiah, and the rest of the team!

I recently had a bathroom remodeled at the home of my senior parents. I was present for most of the project, at first, quite frankly to make sure I protected their interest and also to see that the project got off to a good start. What we got was an amazing and pleasant experience. From Owner Jason Davis to every single member of his team that took part in the project, we were pleased with not only the workmanship, but especially the professional, personal and caring approach to customer service! The project results were outstanding and completed within budget. Elevate Construction is now my "go to" company for all my future projects!

From start to finish, Elevate COnstruction was professional and efficient. Both Jason and Toby were personable and easy to talk with, about fixing my deck. They were accommodating with a time crunch and started within 2 weeks. Half way through the project both came by to ensure I was happy with the progress. I was so impressed with the work, I immediately recommended them to my real estate agent, and friends. I also immediately hired them again, for a project where I needed a custom French door and closet. They were glad to help with my unique idea, and worked tirelessly to find the perfect master craftsman. I highly recommend Elevate for all your home projects and repairs. They are the best!

Our project of whole home stucco over siding went extremely well from start to finish. The entire project was completed quickly and efficiently, just two weeks. Both the owner of Elevate Construction, Jason, and the project manager, Toby, were in constant contact with us and made many on-site visits to ensure our satisfaction, answer questions, and make suggestions. Elevate's employees were absolute experts and performed their jobs with perfection. We are extremely pleased with Elevate Construction, will use them for future projects, and definitely recommend this company to everyone.

Working with Aaron Gray and his team at Elevate Construction was a pleasure. We wanted to finish our basement and after receiving several quotes we went with Elevate Construction. From the very start of the process it was a pleasure working with Aaron and we felt very comfortable. As the project went on Aaron had his team starting on time and would communicate with us on the schedule of when things were happening and we always had some to contact when we had questions or concerns and received a response back in timely fashion. After selecting Elevate Construction the project was able to be started sooner than we had expected and was completed within the stated time frame. While there were a couple of hiccups in the process, they were handled professionally and and quickly to keep the project on schedule. The final result is a finished basement that looks spectacular and exceeds our expectations.

Everyone we have worked with at Elevate construction has been great! The owner, Jason has been so easy to work with. He is responsive and listens to what you want. The crews that came out to do the work were all professional and personable. The wall and french doors that we had done look great and we could not be happier.
