Elgin's Countertop Installations

This project was to install a new tub and tile around the tub and expand a closet. Milissa wrote up the contract and scheduled the start date for September 6th. They were a week late starting and it was just one person who hired day labors to do the work. He complained and asked for money everyday. He demolished the old as dust covered the entire house. When they installed the new tile they made the grout too thick, they grouted my window shut and left a complete unusable mess. Milissa was not responsive to my calls. She promised to come and take a look and she never did. My new tub is still not usable and I had to hire someone else to re-do the work. They threw away parts of the tub fixtures and left the water to leak inside the wall. I do not recommend anyone hiring this company if the continue to send Milissa out with contractors to do the work I am so disappointed in the work they did I will never look to Home Advisor for another contractor. People should not be allowed to be in this business to cheat people out of their hard earned money.

I had granite, tile work, cabinets and painting all done. The workers did a good job. I liked Milissa, as she is very personable, however she is overbooked and made promises she did not keep. She would promise workers would come on a particular date and they wouldn't show up...this happened more than once. While I love the work that was done...I would not hire her again.

The salesperson, Milissa, was extremely nice, informative, and very professional. She was also very friendly. She brought samples of granite that I described to her on the phone that I would be interested in. The installation date was set up in a timely manner. The installers did a wonderful job on the granite vanity top and I am so satisfied with the sink. We are having out of state company as well as company from Belgium in mid-April and I am proud of the way the bathroom looks. The plumber they use, Handy Andy, was also extremely efficient. We paid him extra to remove the caulking around the bathtub and toilet. That was a difficult job and he did well. All work was completed in 1 day! I would not hesitate to recommend either of these two companies to my friends and family.

Measured at 12:30 am on a Thursday and had it installed by Saturday at 9:30 am. Fantastic

To begin with Milissa was a delight to work with. She came up with suggestions that we hadn't even thought about, walked us through the entire process and even threw in a few extras. The entire job took just over two weeks and we had our new kitchen for a great price! My husband was there for the install and said the crew was great and really knew what they were doing. We love our new kitchen and would highly recommend this company.

The quality of the work was very good. Melissa was also helpful with our entire project. She earned our business by going out of her way to save us money on supplies, meeting my wife at the yard to pick the slabs, and getting bids for other parts of the project such as backsplash and painting our cabinets. The price was very competitive and the customer service outstanding. We will definitely use her again in the future.
