We did not get 50% until a week out after all 1600 SqFt of stamp concrete work was done. We usually accept 50% before start of the project. After signing the contract we didn’t get any funds until the 3rd day after she said she would pay the the first day, we took your word [Member Information Removed] it and went on to the 3rd day and received partial payment. Meanwhile we have already took down 8 big trees, took out the stumps, graded 2000 sqft of area and hauled away about 40 yds of dirt. But not only that we had to haul away all your junk that was all over the backyard to the front before we started the project. We literally transformed the entire backyard from what it use to look like into what we agreed on. We advised you to get a storage [Member Information Removed] all this but you insisted that we can put it in the front. Usually you’d have movers [Member Information Removed] this but we were the movers free of charge. The second week comes by after finishing all the concrete work and we’re building the pool and grabbing materials [Member Information Removed] the gazebo and we get in a disagreement because she wants me to purchase materials [Member Information Removed] the gazebo when on our contract that she signed advised that owner purchases gazebo while we provide labor. Long story short she kicked us to the curb and didn’t want us to finish when we’re almost done with the project leaving her with the other half of the payment she owes on the project. There are things we haven’t got too yet that we were going to get done but was forced by her to not come back making her breach our contract. I hope no other contractor has to ever go through this type of things."
