They say you get what you pay for, this time, I didn't even get what I paid for. Working with Elite Design was the most frustrating and tiresome experience I've ever had with any contractor. The whole customer experience since day 1 was chaotic, and lacked structure, clarity and commitment. I was fooled by their lower prices, and I ended up paying a high price. I spent thousands of dollars on my granite counter top, and now I am left with a missing backsplash piece they haven't delivered 5 weeks since installation day and being fully paid, and they're not showing any signs they will. They left me with a missing piece that I probably won't be able to match, and delayed my renovation project by over 4 weeks. Over 5 weeks, I reached out over 8 times checking for progress on delivering the piece without any luck, and with a different excuse each and every time. They are fraud experts and took advantage of a trusting customer. If you think I'm harsh, feel free to read the timeline below, showing text messages summary on the matter with the store owner, and make your own conclusion. 02-14-2019: Install date. Upon arrival, I was told there is backsplash piece missing. They won't come back, they'll drop it for pick up at the store in Troy. 02-22-2019: Store owner doesn't have the piece. Installers will drop it off the following week. 03-04-2019: Store owner promised to deliver the piece on Friday. She asked me to proceed with tiling without the piece. 03-08-2019: Store owner doesn't have the piece, schedule got messed up. She will have the piece on Monday. 03-11-2019: Monday comes, store owner told me they're off. I will have my piece on Wednesday. I showed frustration, and her answer was that the installers do their best, and they have to put the slab on the table for such tiny piece. 03-13-2019: Store owner doesn't have the piece. One of the installer on vacation and he has the measurement. 03-14-2019: I provide the measurements and was told I'll have the piece on Monday.I informed her if I don't have it by Monday March 18th, I am considering legal actions. She asked me to relax and not to be hasty over a small piece. 03-19-2019: I reach out to my advisor, Gabe, at HomeAdvisor explaining the situation. Gabe reached out to the business. The same day I heard from the store owner that they have the piece in store, and that I can pick it up on Thursday 03-21-2019: Store owner asked me to pick up the piece on Friday. Same day at night, store owner informed she doesn't have the piece, and she'll have it sometime next week. I stopped answering texts or interacting with her after that.

They showed up on time, and did great work!
