Deceptive Pricing & Bait-and-Switch Tactics ?My parents pay for a maintenance plan with Elite Electric, Plumbing & Air that covers A/C drain cleaning. Just a month after "service", the drain was completely blocked. The technician (Dennis) was rude, condescending, and pressured my parents into a $600 drain treatment. ?The estimate clearly stated "Drain clearing + pan treatment (4 strips)." However, only one strip was placed at the time. When they returned for the next service, they tried to charge an extra $250 for the second strip. When we pointed out the original agreement, management produced a doctored invoice removing the mention of 4 strips. ?Multiple calls and emails have been ignored. They alter paper trails to avoid delivering what customers paid for. We even attempted to cancel the monthly maintenance plan and they still continued to charge us. Avoid this company and find a more reputable and trustworthy company that cares enough to return phone calls and do what's right.

If you have children do not allow this company to come to your house a month and a half after they put my AC in they came back to my house and said they need more money and was threatening my little girl because I was not home and for this company to think they can come to your house, uninvited and threaten a child that is not a good company.

I called Elite for help late night, they arrived with a technician and a sales rep, Robert Sutton. They informed me that my unit needed rewiring and a capacitor, and for $1004 they could repair it. The unit was not repaired after spending this money with them. The next morning, Robert Sutton called me to encourage me to buy a new system. I called our regular vendor GROSSMAN, and I was told not to trust GROSSMAN. GROSSMANN AIR CONDITIONING diagnosed the problem in less than an hour and found that the issue was a leak in the refrigerant line in a repairable section of the system. They repaired the leak outside of the coil, common to the Amana system. Added the necessary refrigerant, which was 8lbs at $79; they had it on the truck with them; it was not discontinued. GROSSMANN completed the repair in 2 hours, and the AC is now working properly. I strongly encourage anyone facing an HVAC repair to DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. I am following up with legal action.

I would NOT recommend doing ANY business with Elite Electric, Plumbing, and Air. We purchased an AC unit 4 years ago with what was explained as a ?no hassle? 10-year parts, labor, compressor, indoor and outdoor coil warranty. Elite?s website even says: ?Upfront pricing: No hidden fees and no surprises.? The unit now has a sensor malfunction and coil leak due to manufacturer defect. The ?supervisor? told me to go through the manufacturer. After I noted we purchased through Elite, he pulled up an estimate charging a ?warranty handling/processing fee? and for refrigerant to make the unit work. He said the fee is for paperwork. When I objected, Ricky (?supervisor?) told me I could go to another company. When I asked about their ?100% satisfaction guarantee,? he said ?within reason.? He claimed the fee is ?standard? but was ?waived as a courtesy? before. This is NOT 100% satisfaction guaranteed customer service.

good work, but way overpriced

We were already a customer (electrical) and needed a new A/C installed. THE WORST MISTAKE WE MADE. From the beginning in August, 2024 until present it has been a nightmare. Installation was poor and incorrect - needed to be re-installed again with proper duct work, etc., unit failed HOURS after installation was complete the first time and is still not working as it should. Trying to get in touch with management was next to impossible and no efforts on their part to resolve any issues. Looking for quality and professionalism - go elsewhere.

I bought a brand new A/c unit through Elite. They installed the unit, but forgot to install the housing for the filter. When we contacted about the issue they said theyâ d send somebody out to fix their mistake. It wasnâ t until 3-4 weeks later that a technician finally showed up to install the filter housing and filter. The technician left without checking that the unit was working or communicating with anyone in the household whatsoever. It was apparent that the unit stopped working, when we checked the breakers we determined that all contacts were closed and power should be on. It was not. We proceeded to call Elite right away and they set up a technician to come by right awayâ ¦ or so they said, I received text confirmation that a technician was coming so I waited home on an August day in Florida with no A/C eventually calling Elite asking for an ETA and they stated that the technician will be arriving the following day (a Saturday). Then next day and several calls to a call center because Elite apparently does not have a 24hr staff member answering their calls we found that the technician would be there â late morning, early afterâ so waiting to let this guy in on a Saturday was fun. Loved it even more when he finally showed up at 3:30pm and showed up without a 60amp breaker when I specifically told them that the cheap breaker in the unit already when bad a month after the unit was installed. So the technician slapped some wire nuts on it and said theyâ d be back when the part comes in. I guess Home Depot is not an option. Normally I would have done this repair myself but given that it was a brand new unit I took a step back to allow the company that canâ t even call their customers back to attempt to back up their work. Zero professionalism, you wouldâ ve thought their technician was here to hang out being that he spent more time talking than troubleshooting.

I purchased a service agreement since I live in Florida and AC is essential. They said that it guaranteed same day service if I have a problem. Every time I have a problem, they say they can't come out for 1-2 days. So, basically they don't tell the truth. Plus, they tried selling me a new AC unit when mine is still under warranty, and every day they called me with a better price like I was on let's make a deal! I have been a customer for 9 years! Do not trust them. You never can read what you sign on their ipads either.

We had installed in 1 day New faucets in 2 bathrooms & in the kitchen plus New garbage disposal & a New water heater. Our 2 guys were on time, polite, professional, worked happily through difficult obstacles & left the areas cleaner then they were. Everything looks & works beautifully. Prices were a bit high, but your getting quality product & service along with peace of mind which is priceless. The total amount I paid was high for the install of one plug.

Arrived on time. Explained everything and did not try to hard sell me on things I did not need or want at this first appointment. I like that they have 24 hr service. Very reasonable pricing. I am very satisfied.

I thought that was over priced. They told me they would not charge me a service fee of $89 but I think they added it right back in at the price they quoted. If I didnâ t want to get the job done I wouldâ ve went elsewhere.

They replaced an a/c disconnect switch. Arrived a few minutes early and were courteous and knowledgable. They explained what they were doing and left the area clean. I recommend them.

Called December 31 to address A/C problem. They arrived within 3 hours. Fixed problem. Done.

Not the cheapest but great quality and friendly service. Will recommend and use again.
