UPDATE: The owner just called me, yelling and accusing me of bashing his business on Google. My review is our honest experience and not to bash. Still has nothing to do with almost 3 weeks with no update on the parts delivery or the work in our home. IF YOU GO THROUGH AHS, PLEASE HAVE THEM SWITCH YOUR DISPATCH PROVIDER BEFORE THEY COME OUT! Based on the other reviews below, im not the only one with that experience. It can't be me, if others are having this experience.... Please avoid them at all cost, if youre going through American Home Warranty. Very unprofessional. I've been waiting about 4 weeks now, for a simple washer and dryer repair. No calls with updates, no tracking info for parts I've been waiting for the last month. They get the money from the home warranty company, and then abandon the project all together. Get it together!!!

Everything about this company is sorry. It took 3 weeks to ordered parts, customer service sucks, I called and texted 15 times before Eric came back to my house. He finally showed up 2 hours late ,stayed on his phone and came in with the wrong parts. Nasty attitude.

Replacing computer board in washer, gave a one year warranty and did not honor it. I called him, and he told me he was traveling and would have his secretary call to schedule an appt. which never happened. Not recommended.

Good job on installation. The cleanup afterward could’ve better.

Elite called me back promptly, we scheduled an appointment. They called the day before to confirm. They called an hour out, then a half hour out of arrival time. Came and replaced part under 30 minutes. Thank you! Will use again.

The diagnosis that was initially given was not what it was, I'm not even sure if it is what he said it was. Gonna have to pay another service fee for someone else to call me out. The initial visit he was 2hours outside the already three hour window that was given.on the 2nd visit, he was on the phone with tech support with the manufacturer, REALLY? I'm wasn't satisfied with anything he did or said! Back to square one, it's like rolling dice!

Apparently not much has changed with Eric's time management skills since 2015. One cancelled appointment (cancelled within hours of when he was supposed to arrive, by the way), and 3 hours late to the rescheduled appointment have left me with a terrible first impression of this company. It's too bad my home warranty forces me to use them. Eric did tell me about his mom being in the hospital - and I thought I made it clear to him that he was still several hours late *after* he told me he was on the way to my home. I'm not sure if he was being willfully obtuse, or defensive, or expecting me to accept that it takes 2-3 hours to drive from any hospital in Atlanta to my home in Decatur, or if he just plain missed my point. The moral here is: don't tell people you're on your way when you aren't. Don't over-promise then under-deliver. That might work for parties and backyard barbecues, but it doesn't work for people who take time off work with a reasonable expectation that the person being paid for providing a service will at the very least be mindful of that time.
