"We do apologise for the lack of interpretation of the time it would take to remove 300sqft of Parquet flooring with a 1/4" of glue (Proper practice 1/16"). Which your "big box" store told you couldn't be removed. Mind you Elite did so in two days per proper practice. You also ordered flooring that does not make transitions. Even though the time you were given was 4 days, ( which is was completed in) the removal of this parquet floor took longer than expected. Due to improper glue thickness used. Thus why you were told it couldn't be done. The extra three days were spent relentlessly looking for the best match for your transitions to match the sand washed oak floors you purchased. Even though none of this was the fault of Elite, we took off over $400 simply just to make you happy. As far as the transitions breaking, what you are looking at is the reducer used to transfer from your carpet to the new vinyl floor. It runs the length of the strip and comes in two pieces( transition and reducer)"

"Thank you Gary, I did some research and found that the best course of action that repels against snow during the winter is to actually apply a sealer during fall. Then use a light coating of Magnesium chloride. This is far less damaging to concrete and plants than your typical snow salt. I hope this was helpful. And thank you again for the 5 star rating"
