Our detached garage flooded with nearly every rainfall. Larger waterproofing companies failed to fix the problem or proposed expensive solutions like lifting the whole garage off foundation. Chad Richer from Elite Moisture Management correctly diagnosed and remedied the problem. It's been 10 months and not a drop of water in the garage.

Chad was amazing! I actually hired him to look at my backyard for leveling, a retaining wall, and help creating a garden. I didnâ t know he worked on crawl spaces. I had mentioned my crawl space needing work and a quote I had gotten from someone else. I sat on that quote because of my gut telling me it wasnâ t right. Chad went above and beyond providing a fair quote, as well as fixing the problem (I really didnâ t know how bad it was!) I have a dehumidifier in my home that I would have to empty every 6 hours. Since Chad and his crew put up a vapor barrier and rerouted the run off water, I empty it once every other week! I couldnâ t be more grateful! We first asked Elite to come out and look at our drainage issue in the back yard. The whole yard was mush from years of water collection and we could not grow grass. Chad and his team came up with a plan and found exactly where to install the drain to get our yard back to normal. They also found moisture in our crawl space and had our insulation replaced right away before we had any mold issues. Not only was Elite fast but they did an amazing job. It rained two days later and the water was just flowing out of our yard. It has now been a few weeks since the drain was installed and our ground is solid again! The whole team was efficient, friendly, respectful and they did a great job with the installation and the clean up. We cannot thank Chad and his team enough.

I asked Chad to recommend an approach to resolve ongoing backyard drainage problems at a Charlotte house. He was the first to point out that I needed a gutter and downspouts added on the back of the house, and recommended two drain pipes to divert downspout water to the street front curb. I asked him to also include catch basins and drain pipes in the backyard, and he was responsive in providing revised quotes. They came out and started the work on the exact day they had promised. It was a two day job, and when completed Chad told me they had added to the scope of work. They added some French drain in the backyard because they wanted to be absolutely sure it would remain dry, and they did that without asking for any more money. It is rare to find a contractor so committed to doing a job right! Chad was easy to work with, and understanding about dealing with an out-of-town owner. Elite Moisture Management has systems in place to provide online invoicing and credit card payments. They also emailed me pictures of the completed work, and co-operated with review of their work by my realtor.

I had a French drain installed across my entire backyard and down to the sidewalk. These guys were great! They bypassed sprinkler system and all of the utilities, connected my downspouts, and removed the old drain. I highly recommend them!
