"Let's start with the fact that you owe my company $9896.37 for work that was completed. Elite Painting and remodeling have never left a job unfinished if the customer is paying as they promised to do. We only quit working on your project at your request even tho you were past due. We have installed thousands of floorings just like yours. We informed you of the problems with the flooring immediately after we started the insulation. The flooring was falling apart in our hands. Clearly not something you want happening. You insisted on using that flooring because it was the only flooring you could find in that color. We proceeded at your request. After the flooring did exactly what I said it would do. You came unglued on me demanding that I pay for the installed flooring, installation cost, cost of new flooring, installation of new flooring and you still owed me money. There is no such thing as a flooring inspector. You had the company that you were buying the new flooring from come out and look at the flooring. I talked to them, and they said that you insisted on new flooring from them. They didn't tell you the floor was installed wrong in any way. All of the delays were caused by you and your unwillingness to put your dog up while we were there/ your two weeks of vacation. I made it very clear to you that we would need access to the house Mon-Fri 9-3:30 which you agreed to and then changed your mind about because of the dog. This huge leak that you clam happened was less than one gallon of water. The sub-contractor was fired, and the drywall was fixed that he messed up. I went so far and above for you in every way I could. I took over 500 phone calls from you and over 1000 text messages. It didn't matter what time of day or night it was. I even took calls from you on weekends, late nights, and even on vacation. (About something that had nothing to do with the project that we were working on) I made sure I was available to you anytime you need me to answer a question like a do for all of my clients. This is a very clear case of someone doing everything they can do to get something for nothing. It's important to note the only task left unfinished was the setting of the cabinets."
"This is a completely false statement!!!!! You paid $3000 for the bathroom remodel and $9000.00 for a party barn project that we completed. You were amazed at how well the party barn turned out. As far as the bathroom goes you were informed that I had lost over half of my staff due to Covid and the company was way behind I gave you the option to back out of the contract and you said that you would be willing to wait for us because of the great job that was done on your party barn. When we started working on the bathroom you were told that we would need all the titles on site before we could start working on the shower or the floor. You failed to do so causing a 3wk delay. When you finally got the title, you asked that I come and unload it on a Sunday, and I did at no cost to you. After looking at the title/ glass block I informed you that this wasn't what we had talked about. You then told me you changed the plan. I told you that we already had the plumbing done for the old plan and you replied it was not your problem. You were informed at that time to moving would cost more also at this time I asked for payment, and you said I would have it in a few days. One month later after I informed you that we would no longer be working on your project without payment you called me wanting to know why nothing had been done. I told you it was due to lack of payment one week later I received a payment. At this point, we had already moved to a different project. I told you that we had received payment and we would put you back in the schedule asap. The next week we completed the rewire, the custom shower, and flooring. At this point, the new walls were already built and just needed drywall finishing. I asked for another payment which I did not receive for 3 weeks. At this point, you were 3 payments behind per our agreement. We were also waiting on the cabinets that you were told we would need to do the finish plumbing and or finish the drywall. After I told you again that we couldn't do any more work until you paid what was owed/ got the materials that we needed you snapped at me asking me why the drywall couldn't get finished now. I reiterated my previous statement. The flowing day you contacted me again asking why the drywall couldn't be finished and tell me you wanted to have a party at the house. You promised the check was in the mail. I then tried to get in touch with my drywall finisher trying to help you out with no luck on that day. I talked to him the next day and he said he would do everything in his power to fit you as he was slammed busy and had filled your spot because the house wasn't ready to be finished. I told you what was said, and you got very upset with me and hung up the phone. you then started texting/ calling me 5-7 times a day wanting to know when he would be there to finish the job. I asked that you please stop, and I would let you know as soon as I knew what was going on. The next day a Saturday you called me 6 times and text me every 2hrs to see if I knew when he was coming. I answered most of your calls and text telling you the same thing when I know I'll let you know. The next day Sunday you started with calls a 6 am that was the last straw. When I answered the call and asked you why you were doing this you snaped telling me how to run my company and started calling me names. when I hung up you called back 15 times in a row until I had to block your number. The next day I told you that I would be at the house to gather our tools, clean up and that we would not be back to finish because of your actions and lack of payment. I wished you good luck in finding someone else to finish the job. You still owe me tons of money that I have filed a lawsuit to recover. I did everything in my power to complete this project, but I will not be abused due to someone else's shortcomings and lack of payment."
"965 square feet in two days is hardly slow. Not only did we go over the room literally with a spot light and you were extremely happy. We also waited to finish are full cleanup till you could see the room in the daylight. The cardboard was only left behind at your request. We also left all the leftover paint. Everything was stacked nice and neat in a corner like you asked."
"As with any customer we here at Elite Painting and Remodeling did a final walk through with Stanley. He was extremely happy with our work and even said he would hire us back to do more painting/drywall repairs for him and his wife. He was more than happy to pay his bill in full and continued to make comments about how great it looked. This was on a Friday the following Tuesday I was contacted by Stanley stating we had a problem. He told me his washer and dryer where dented. I asked for pictures and the pictures he sent showed no damage. So I offered to come take a look. I was forced to cancel our first appointment. I have tried several times"
