Elmwood

Not only friendly and professional, they worked as long as needed to get the job done quickly. Painting, moldings, washing machine drainage issue, and more! Would recommend for any project. I already have a list I need them to come back for!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We’ve worked with Shawn and Elmwood LLC on numerous projects in our older Bexley home, and they have consistently exceeded our expectations! From transforming rooms into a home gym and office to remodeling our porch, installing flooring, and now undertaking an extensive buildout of an upstairs bedroom suite, they’ve become our go-to team for just about everything. Shawn and his team are trustworthy, efficient, professional, and incredibly respectful of our home. They show up, do what they say they’re going to do, pay attention to the details, and always leave the work areas clean. Anyone who owns an older home knows that renovations can come with surprises, and having a contractor you genuinely trust makes all the difference. The drop-down list of services for this review didn't come close to capturing everything they've done for us or the range of work they can handle! It's rare to find a contractor you can rely on time and again. Five stars without hesitation!

I hired them to do multiple jobs - bathroom exhaust fan installs, an outdoor faucet replacement, a fan install, and rewiring of an outlet so that we could move our fridge. They came out promptly, worked diligently, and cleaned up after they were done. They communicated clearly before and during the project. The people who built the house and had done some modifications on it before we owned it had made some decisions which required some creativity and problem solving, but they handled those challenges quite well. I would highly recommend this team.

Communicative, easy to reach, on time, and quality work. He installed two ceiling fans and helped get the right parts. He cleaned up after his work and even quoted me for another job. Definitely will want to hire again for the next project.

Shawn and Paul were very professional, honest, proficient. We were told we needed a new deck, Shawn came and did a free estimate and reassured us we did not need a new deck. He gave us the best ideas on how to complete the job and came within the week to do the job. Shawn went out of his way to make us happy and make our deck looks fantastic.

Shawn & Paul did a great job. Understood what I wanted & great suggestions to make project better. Timely & great cleanup. Will recommend them to friends and family too.

Shawn was great! Very responsive and professional. Would definitely recommend and use again.

Did patio stone work for us. Great work, very professional, and kind. They even helped us get rid of some furniture we needed carried away.

They did an excellent job. Could not be happier.

Prompt, professional, and good value for the work. Did an excellent job, and I would hire again.

I bought a 35 yr old house last January and had Shawn do several projects (vent basement crawlspace to cut condensation, put floor across garage attic storage space, replace all window weather stripping, several other things). Shawn is great to work with: prompt polite, hard working, knowledgeable. I highly recommend his work

Greatest experience I have had in years. Shawn meets all the high standards for honesty and quality work. He is my go-to person.

Shawn did a very good job. He was on site at the scheduled time and completed the job within the time he had quoted. He replaced several floor slates and install new side steps to the deck. He also painted the two level deck and did a great job. I would highly recommend him for any project that he he applies for.

Shawn is very reliable and professional. I have hired him for two major renovation projects on two different houses. The at included painting, flooring, electrical work, etc. he is very good at what he does, hard worker and very reliable. He does great quality work and I highly recommend him for any house projects.
