"I can understand your frustration with the cost of a last minute emergency repair, and I do apologize that emergency repairs are more expensive than jobs that can wait. We had to reschedule all of our clients for the next two days to facilitate this repair, we had equipment rental costs, and we had two nights worth of overtime to get this job completed on time. I ve been frustrated with the costs of emergency services myself, such as when I had a water heater burst at my home, but I understand all that goes on behind the scenes and the amount of resources it takes to solve an emergency issue. I ve found that when I really sit down and analyze the situation I may have been in, and look at how quickly, smoothly and professionally an issue was solved, I can usually find a way to appreciate all the efforts that went into getting the problem solved, and I then I don t feel upset about the higher costs of a last minute repair. Given the cost of our equipment rental and overtime, rescheduling, and administrative time spent sorting out the details of your utility disconnection with the inspectors who ordered the shutdown, we bid this job as competitively as we could. Remember that 10% of our job costs were utility reconnection and permit charges, they were not our direct charges. As for taking advantage of a dire situation, that was not the case. The utility company does not simply shut your power down on a whim. They had sent notices and compliance requests on this rental apartment complex for months asking that the electrical service be brought up to code. We received your call the day the power was shut down, asking for immediate service to get power restored, only after tenant complaints prompted action. I was very clear that we had a full schedule and probably couldn t get to the job until next week, without rescheduling other projects and working overtime. We provided you with clear written pricing for the project, and a clear understanding of what it would take to get it done. We completed the job on time and on budget, and only after the job was completed at the time of final invoice did you ask that we re-negotiate the job costs. I was happy to go over the numbers with you, but it was simply not in the budget to offer a discount given the overtime worked on the project. I did however, offer you a $150 discount on any future services, which we are still happy to honor anytime you may need additional services. This was a rather large emergency repair that required two electricians for two nights worth of overtime, and several appointment reschedules. We hope you can understand why some larger emergency repairs can be more expensive than our standard bid jobs that work with our set schedule. Thanks again for your business, we would be happy to help you with any electrical needs in the future. I do apologize that you feel you only received one star service on a project we were able facilitate working on immediately to restor"
"Thanks Peggy & Roger! It was great to meet both of you and to get to work on your project. I hope that your little plumbing leak you guys found got corrected okay. Thanks again for your business, and don't hesitate to call anytime you need an electrician."
"Thanks Bob, it was great working with you. Panel changes and house rewires are what we love to do. I'm glad we could help you rewire your entire home you had purchased in Tacoma, WA. Were happy to help with any electrical needs you may have in the future. Thanks for the review."
"Hi Vicky, we love rewiring houses, and working on your house was a pleasure. I've always loved old homes, and you guys did a great job remodeling your downtown Puyallup home. It looks amazing and I'm glad we got to be a part of it. Let us know if there's ever anything else we can do for you. Thanks for your business."
