Emmons Plumbing and Home Improvement

This is the second time we have contracted with Emmons Plumbing and Home Improvement. This project, like the first, was on a budget, and on time! We have an 1890 restored farmhouse which has its own quirks and Michael and team were creative in their solution for the plumbing work, as well as the renovation work of the closet into a bathroom and closet.

Make sure you ask if they have the equipment for what you need done or do they have to rent it ... and ask what they charge before they come out to your home. Make sure you ask if they are coming to look at it or attempt to fix it ..

Cancelled on two occasions but notify me that he wasn't going to be able to make it, unlike some who just don't show up.

Did a great job.

They were on time but most important they cleaned up after they were done. Great price also.

Took over 3 weeks and 4 trips to get job done upset ing our schedule considerably.

Great efficiency and job quality.

I give this rating on first time service. Everything went well, and I was very satisfied with all aspects of this service to me. The real test will be when there is another freeze. All my bathroom pipes were frozen when the work was done on January 2, and they never thawed out until January 8. I was told that the work done would remedy this problem. I will repeat that the next freeze will tell me if the work done was a success. I believe that Michael was truthful, so my trust will remain with him. . Sincerely, Mary Cox

Michael was great to work with. He was very prompt to respond to our leak issue that turned into a small renovation to repair all of the damage. He was very reasonable with price and understanding with how we could work to pay him for the job. He was truly concerned with getting us back in working order, rather than how he was going to get paid. He was honest and worked hard to communicate often and clearly about the work to be done. Definitely call Michael if you need any plumbing or renovation work!

I believe his name was Mike if I'm not mistaken. He is very good at what he does. He is a little expensive but in order to get the job done right, that's what it takes. He was also there earlier than expected which worked out well too. I believe he is probably better and safer than trying to go through Craigslist in my honest opinion.
