Got the roof done in one day! Bam! They always returned my calls and answered my emails. The foreman were extremely personable and would take time to answer any question I had. Also, were thorough picking up after they finished. Good choice using!

Great quality of work, they had to work through three rain storms and two snow storms just to get the foundation done. Great people to work with, they built exactly what I needed. Now a have a 24 x 24 garage with two 10 x 8 doors, it's awesome.

They did a great job, but they did not honor the contract of a vanity that was included in the contract. The crew were all members of same family, friendly and nice, did good work. Only problem was near end of project the leader told me the vanity in the bathroom was not covered in their quote but it was included in State Farms list of water damages which was attached as part of contract. After considerable discussion they agreed to include it but it has been 5 months since the end of the work and after repeated cancelled installations and runarounds the vanity I picked out has not been installed. Out of frustration and the need to install the vanity so I could sell the house due to my divorce, I agreed to Emory paying me $1,000 so they would not have to cover the vanity. It cost me $3,237 to get a vanity installed from another company. I would not recommend Emory due to their lack of integrity and refusal to honor their contract.

"The purchase and install of the vanity was not included on the original contract. Emory Construction did verbally agree to install the vanity as requested by Homeowner while onsite. It was with the understanding that the Homeowner was to purchase the vanity since Emory Construction had not allowed for that cost in the contract. The final invoice for the scope of work that had been completed was issued on September 27th which stated that the remaining balance of $500.00 would be due once the vanity had been install. The invoice also stated that the Homeowner is to order and purchase vanity. Emory Construction followed up with an email to the Homeowner on September 27th with a name of a vendor for the Homeowner to contact to order the vanity and this vendor would accept payment over the phone. Emory Construction assumed that the Homeowner was moving forward with purchase of vanity and would contact Emory Construction once it was ready to pick up and installed. The Homeowner reached out to Emory Construction on October 17th stating that he was under the impression that the cost of the vanity was included in contract. Emory Construction had taken every opportunity to make it clear that the purchase of the vanity was not included in the contract and explain to the Homeowner that we understand that State Farm had provided the Homeowner with a concession for his vanity in his claim it was not our contract. To keep the Homeowner satisfied Emory Construction agreed to move forward with purchase of vanity. Emory construction did experienced delays beyond our control with vanity order however we did inform the Homeowner of these delays. Once we received both items we scheduled the install with the Homeowner and when we arrived on site the Homeowner informed us that he was getting other quotes for the purchase and install of the vanity. Emory Construction is not at fault for any additional cost that this Homeowner will incurred for the purchase and install of this vanity as the Homeowner refused to have us complete the vanity install. It is disappointing to see this review from this Homeowner as we strive for every customer to be happy with the level of service that they receive from us. We did everything we could to satisfy this Homeowner request."

Before we knew better, we chose Emory because of their courtesy, nice people, and competitive price. We should have realized that since they had to reschedule their original appointments with us 3 times (total of many weeks) due to "events beyond their control" that they would also not honor their signed $50K+ contract with us due to "events beyond their control" and being "under contract with several insurance companies". for work due to weather events that happened BEFORE we signed with Emory. Two delays after signature (and their word) totaling two months, beyond the initial date which we pushed back 4 months to accommodate Emory's schedule - and then no guarantee of completion, and no willingness to alter the dates in the contract. We have pushed our repairs back 7 months because of them, and we now have to start over with a new contractor search. "Fool me once, shame on you". But Emory has fooled me five times! Shame on me!!!

"It's unfortunate that we could not come to a mutual agreement on the terms of the contract. We certainly didn't set out to make this a negative experience and are disappointed that it turned out that way. We had hope to be able to work out an acceptable time frame and estimated completion date that work for both parties. Our company has been in the construction industry for over 20 years and this is the first time that we were not able to come to resolution to continue our relationship with a homeowner. It's unfortunate and it's never a path that we want to go down but, in this case, we determined that it was best for both parties that we mutually end our agreement. The Emory Construction Team are very knowledgeable in the work they do. They added a sunroom to my home and it is beautiful. I highly recommend Emory Construction for any job. Very respectful to your home and cleaned up the debri on a daily basis. I cannot say enough about this team. They went beyond my expectations!

Emory remodel a bedroom that had been damaged by a leaking waster pipe. All the drywall and trim had to be removed and replaced. Ronald provided explanations in detail of what work will be done and the cost. Ronald made suggestions to improve how to construct an access panel to the bathroom cutoff water supply over the original construction. All of his workers were very personable, polite, and took great care when entering and exiting our home. If I could give them 10 stars, I would. Excellent Company and very skilled workers.

Ronald completed a number of projects at my home. These included: fixing a hot water heater, installing a gate on my deck, and repairing a leaking roof. He always ensured that I knew what my options were relative to repairs and made this all a very easy process. He was not only on time (which is always a plus), but he was also very professional, and left nothing behind relative to clean up. I must say, my father was in construction his whole life and would always do this kind of work for me. He has moved and is no longer available to help with these items. It is a relief that I have a trusted professional that I can go to now with projects big and small for my home.
