Kris and his crew installed a drainage system and sump pump in my basement. He did an amazing job, he is very skilled and does excellent work. He pays get attention to detail and leaves your home spotless when they are finished. I would highly recommend Empire if you have water problems in your basement.

Kris is extremely knowledgeable, no pushy sales pitch, digs right down to the foundation and puts the gravel down then the 4 inch perpherated piping throughout the entire interior of the foundation , then fills it with gravel, puts weeping holes in the blocks so the water in there will drain into the system. Then installed 2 sump pumps and they pitched so if one happens to be unplugged for any reason the other one will catch the water and pump out 6000 gallons an hour. Their work ethic was fabulous, very neat, no debris left behind. They started within one week from the day I hired them. They also used rebar to re-enforce the new concrete poured over the crushed stone instead of spacers because water can come up through the spacers. His work is lifetime guaranteed and transferable to new owners if one sells their home. The stainless steel pumps are warenteed for 5 years! I already began recommending them! They saved me thousands of dollars and time as opposed to two of the other two very popular dry basement system companies, who had great sales pitches, (nice men), but I knew as I researched more , Empire Construction could do the job the correct way and I live on wet lands. Kris, Smilly and Mario showed up on time the 4 days they were here and went over and above in installing a French drain in the basement and a curtain drain around the out side of a patio. They covered the entire contents of the basement that kept the mess totally contained.

Very Satisfied with all aspects of the job, which has waterproofed my basement by setting a drainage pipe under the floor and a sump pump. The crew was well organized and did a good quality job. Very positive attitude and conduct. Thanks, Chris!

Chris came promptly and answered all my questions, outlined what had to be done, and was generally very helpful. The actual work (which included digging out the basement floor) was accomplished with only one issue... which Chris personally took care of the next day. Also removed an offending safe from the basement-- which was an added bonus! I definitely chose the right company for the job.

Before calling Chris we looked at all customer reviews and comments. We decided to give him a call. While he proved to be more than we anticipated. He displayed extensive knowledge and experience answering an questions and concerns with great patience and professionalism. The work was neat, clean, and job well done in a timely manner. He also did some extra work for us. If Chris doesn't pick up the phone when you call, just leave a message and he will call you back he always does. Sometimes hes in areas with little cell service. We are truly satisfied with the work and the degree of service he provided and recommend him highly.

Thorough nowledge and explanations. Impressive completion of work in short time. Clean. Personable. Helpful advice. Threw in some important extra work. Only shortcoming was some lax communication, though much of the time he seems to do well if you text. Highly recommend.
