Empire Fence & Ironworks

My advice is to not use them.

The main guy installing the fence was a hard worker and knew what he was doing. The guy helping him, not so much. On top of that, he drove their huge Ford work truck off of my driveway to take materials to the back of my property, and in doing so caused my driveway to crack and busted off the edge of the concrete due to the weight of the vehicle, supplies. Which then led to a massive hole as the concrete gave way. The ?owner? of the company, Mike, called and said his concrete guy could fix the damaged portion for $800 but only thought it to be fair that he paid half. So he only wanted to pay $400 for damage that his worker, his company caused. I had 2 other concrete companies come out and tell me to just repair the damaged part that it would cost over $2,500.00. I called Mike and told him he needed to pay the full amount to repair it, since they caused the damage. I broke it down into simple terms; I.e. there are 2 cars driving down the road, one hits the other, so they are at fault. It's not the other persons fault that they were there too. And this guy still proceeded to argue with me. I had my insurance company come out, I filed a claim and the told me that they would contact the fence company to get my deductible amount from them at least. So I stopped contact. This fence company never paid a dime to fix a huge mess they caused. And to top it off, Mike sends me a random text after filing my claim that just says ?Thank you?, so here is him earning his thank you with a NEGATIVE review. You earned it buddy. Cause the fence work wasn?t that great. Your guys left gaps and gate bars have come apart. Do not hire this company. The work is shotty and customer service from the owner is awful.

Been trying to get Mike to get in touch with me because I have a couple of problems that need fixing. He never returns a message. I paid cash so guess I do not matter. I will give another week then I will call Scott Hines .....

Inconsistent communication. Unreliable scheduling. Slow turn around time however, once started, fence finished in a day and excellent quality.

The initial appointment was 0930 on Thursday, received a call they were running an hour behind. They finally arrived around 1215. They took down the old fence and stacked it in my front yard, which is still sitting out there, (I would attach pics if I could). They poured concrete, put up poles.....and that is pretty much all. It is now day three, Saturday 1200 no email, no phone call, no smoke signal, nothing. I have phoned twice (they are closed on the weekends, but you can talk to a dispatcher) with no response from Empire Fencing OK. I just called another number that was on the estimate I received, who did respond and he said he would try to see what is going on. I am not sure how this company has received good reviews, or if they are even real reviews because based on what I have experienced thus far, this is less than satisfactory.

Took a very long time get the gate. Could not get calls returner. When finally got the gate, I was extremely pleased!

Workers were polite and knowledgable.. I am happy with the results.

The work itself was excellent. The customer service, however, was terrible. No communication, no call backs, missed initial appointment with no notice. Could not get them on the phone after we paid a deposit. Missed the pick up of the old fencing materials. Had to call to remind.

Salesman was friendly. They matched a competitors lower quote for me. They would didnt get me scheduled as fast as they promised which wasnt a big deal. The installers were friendly and quality was good. They left without hauling off the old fence panels. I called the office the next working day and wasnt able to talk to anyone and just left a message to have them contact me about hauling off the old panels. I didnt get a call back so I called the following day and was able to talk to their office lady, she said that someone is suppose to come back and haul those away. But she couldnt give me idea of when, she said sometime within the next few days. That was over a week ago. I called yesterday and left a message with they call answering service (a 3rd party answering service that knows nothing about the Bussiness and just takes messages), I told them to please have someone contact me today about when the fence may be getting hauled off. No-one from empire has reached out. I cant imagine if someone had a problem with the install or needed them to come back for warranty work.

They were very professional.

I did have difficulty getting ahold of the office person I needed to talk to.

The project was started later than agreed, wasnt told they were rescheduling until the end of the day they were to start. Was told fence wasnt supposed to come down until after the posts and new panels were ready to go up. Waited later for the new panels to go up. Pickup for old panels took a week when we were told pick up would take no more than 48 hours. Salesman didnt contact with schedule changes. Overall, the fence looks great, customer service portion was very poor.

Were on time, verified what I wanted before working, worked hard in the cold and cleaned the area before leaving. Great job.

Very professional work ethic. The final product is excellent. Very easy people to work with. Mike and his crew are top-notch.

Mike with Empire has been great along with the guys working for him. They just started a 3000ft project for me and have nothing but good to say about these guys

They were courteous and asked me how I wanted the fence lowered or not being chain link. They went the extra step to make sure it was to my liking.

Michael is very good customer service. My only complaint is the finished product left me with some clean up. I wish they would have taken some of the extra dirt away from digging the holes for the fence post. The overall experience was good.

Mike was great straight forward business man! Very respect listen to our needs and gave the best recommendation to meet those needs and budget He was not pushy very knowledgeable and expressed his wellness to make sure that the project is done right! The guys suffered through the rain to get my fence done, and it looks great.
