Empire Today - Oklahoma City

Empire took all the carpet out of my living room and hall and after choosing our new flooring they layed it and the quarter round. It looked absolutely beautiful. They did a wonderful job on the 2 step down areas. We have a sunken living room, so they had to correlate the hall with the living room at the step down and the dining room with the living room. They did an excellent job and very speedy at that. We were very pleased.

They were very friendly and professional. They completed the job in 2 days. They also cleaned everything up when they were finished.

Even though the product that was installed was not what I thought I was getting, it was very good quality and the installation was great. It was a great value for my money. The only draw back was that the installer couldn't speak English, and the clean up was poor. That being said, they were very good to complete the job expeditiously and did a follow up.

Our carpet installation has been a complete nightmare. I would never recommend this company to anyone, ever. They came out to install new carpet as well as laminate flooring in 3 rooms and a foyer. They installed everything and left. The laminate flooring was horrible, there were bare places on the floors, they laminate did not match up to the walls, it was a total mess in all the rooms. We were able to get someone to come out to look at it and they agreed that the laminate needed to be redone. New installers came out to rip out the horrible laminate and reinstall it. This took a total of 3 different days to complete because they kept running into issues from the bad installation. While the new installers were there, we noticed there were places in the carpet that did not have any of the cushion matting under it. When you walked on it you would sink down in and could feel the concrete underneath. Yet again we had to wait for someone to come out to look at it and they agreed the carpet was not installed properly and would need to be completely ripped out and reinstalled. So once again we had to have all the furniture and items moved out of the rooms. This was my mother home, she is an elderly woman who has some health issues and is on oxygen so we had to hire people to come in each time to move all the furniture as well as put it back. The first installers also cracked a couple of the ceramic tiles along the area where the kitchen meets the carpet. They tried to cover it up and not to say anything about it. This is still broken with no plan from Empire to fix it. We have tried to call customer service several times to ask what they are going to do to compensate her for all of these issues. They continue to tell us that they have put a ticket in for this and someone will call us back in 1-2 business days. No one calls so we call again, it is a vicious cycle of getting no where. We were finally given the number to our local OKC office (or so they say, its an 866 #) and were given the extension and name of the person we needed to talk with, Megan. We have called her numerous times, she never answers her line and never returns our calls. Why can not you talk to a person who can help. They have lied to us so many times, telling us someone will call, one time they even said someone was scheduled to come out that day. No one showed up. They were quick to call us and come out to sell us the product and work but not so quick to help us with this mess. I will make it my quest to tell everyone I know to never use this company. They are Horrible.

We had an issue with installation but the manager was responsive and it was corrected in a timely manner.

We had just bought a house and had tried cleaning the existing carpet. There was some left over smell of smoke and per urine on carpet that just wouldn’t go away. We received a couple of estimates for carpet replacement. You just couldn’t beat the pricing that Empire had. The deal they gave us was ridiculous. My wife and i love the new carpet.

Asked for an estimate to replace my home carpet and the price was way tooooooo HIGH, got a good deal from them installing carpet in a rental unit and they did nothing else but installed carpet on staircase. prep work had already been completed. SHOP around.

They left without vacuuming the rug. Called Empire twice, they blew me off. I called Home Advisor, the mexican girl wrote everything down... and Josh called me back a couple of days later, funny, he did not know what the call was about... NEVER USE: “EMPIRE” OR “HOME ADVISOR” - "THE JOB WILL NOT GET FINISHED".

First I would like to say that I did have an issue with the installation of my kitchen flooring the first time around, however, my carpets were installed without issue. The installers were very hard working people but I feel like they might have needed just a little more experience with the vinyl flooring. Empire did send someone else out to fix anything that needed to be fixed or replaced. The second installer that came was very knowledgeable about the flooring that I was having a problem with and took his time to get it perfect. Although I was not happy that I had to get Empire to come to my house a second time to fix what I felt should have been done right the first time, they did stand by their work and did all repairs that I wanted done in a timely manner.
