    Great service

They came when they said they would, the product (vinyl planking for a split stairway) looked nice both before and after installation. There was a gap on the side of one step and molding was needed on the two bottom steps, but the installer called his office and got approval to fix both after discussing options with me. They had to make a second trip since they did not have molding in a matching color in their truck, but were very nice about the whole thing. Looks great!

    Very good

I want a representative here to fix my problems. Update on 6/11This was the worst consumer experience of my 68yo life. The seams looked very obvious, installer ensured me they d flatten out. They did not, and will not. He was lying. The worst seam is a raised area 4 wide, and can be seen from 30 away. I poured the installers Gatorade over ice, gave one a humidifier, another 2 lbs of venison to try. I treated them far better than they did me. I sat down after they left to watch CNBC, only to find a blank blue screen. I discovered that they moved my (older) tv off it s base without first unplugging the cable connection, breaking off the connection and rendering the tv unusable. I knew they saw it, as they replugged the power cords and the broken connector was laying next to the electrical outlet. I also saw what I thought were muddy footprints after they left. I learned that these were impressions that are left merely by walking on the carpet with bare feet. The carpet looks like it s 10 years old, and it s only been 7 days. Their customer service people will not call me, despite repeated calls from Home Advisor s complaint department. So, I hit the trifecta of a horrible consumer experience. A substandard product, installed by poorly trained and/or technicians with a terrible work ethic, backed by non-existent customer service. My recommendation? Find a good local dealer/installer that is recommended by friends. I will be doing likewise to replace this train wreck of an installation, as I have zero confidence that Empire will do the right thing.

The day before I was scheduled, the company rescheduled my original installation, which was supposed to be on 11/17/18, to 11/24/18. The promise of ‘installation before Thanksgiving or it’s free’ must have been a lie. I also requested a courtesy call two hours before the installers arrived because I was travelling from NJ to PA, but I received a call 20 minutes beforehand. The installer said that four boxes of product were damaged but installed them behind my stove to hide the damage. It took four attempts for me to finally get a hold of the sales manager who was going to give me a $50 credit for all of this stress and unprofessionalism. I finally told him someone else, whom he pretended not to know, already said I would be receiving a $200 credit. I would have much rather dealt with and paid more for a local, private installer than Empire Today. Save you sanity and choose another installer!

    4.0 Richard O. Stroudsburg, PA

Material was excellent along with the quality of work. However they sent only one Landing. As a result the contractor took two pieces he had in his van and nailed both together onto the stairway. I paid too much to experience this one noticeable flaw. Sad
