Was told floors were guaranteed from water, pet etc from my sales guy. so when I noticed the floors starting to come to buckle at then seems I called. I was told it is from the water after pics were sent to them thru email and it is not part of the guarantee. So I asked.. how are you supposed to clean your floors? She said to read the directions on the website. I asked for a manager and she said she was the mgr and there is nothing else she can do. I do not understand how you ask the salesman if their pet proof and waterproof and he says they are, but when you call them with an issue that they say its from water and they cant help u without you paying for them come out and give you an estimate for the repair that I have to pay. Just FRUSTRATED HERE.

It is too bad that their customer service does not return phone calls. I called twice and left messages over the past 2 weeks about some trim that they installed that was not painted but had a paper covering that came loose after the install. They need to complete the job. Also, clean-up was abysmal.

Not a good experience at all. They had to come three separate times to finish the job. Was small job too. The installer didnt have part of the flooring one time. Then his power tool broke and was unable to finish at the second visit. Was told I would be compensated with a $150 credit to the credit card. Never got it. Now I have to chase them down to get my credit.

Let me start by saying, the customer service wasn’t good and here’s way. I’m a property manager and I don’t like working on the weekends, however, I accepted the first available appointment they had, which was a Saturday. I live in NY and the project is in NJ. They called me 2 hours before the scheduled appointment and said their driver was in an accident and had to cancel and apparently their wasn’t anyone else available. They rescheduled for the following Monday. I drove to the location and waited about 2 hours past my scheduled appointment after the keep telling me the driver is on his way, the driver never showed and they give me some BS story way, I didn’t buy it. They rescheduled for the next morning, reluctantly I accepted. They finally showed and long story short, when they came, they actually did a great job, so I’m actually happy for that. However, I wouldn’t recommend that location Empire Carpet bottom line.
