Seamless Metal Gutters Installation
my gutters are falling off in less than 3 weeks. They do not reply to messages or emails and did not start project on time. We wrote a contract for gutters and soffits, Project is still incomplete. Took my money an ran. I have had the worst experience with this company. Do your self a favor go with someone else.

I signed 2 contracts in early March with Home Energy to build a deck and install a new back door. The door was supposed to be installed at the same time as the deck. The contracts called for construction to start 12 weeks from the signing. As was stated in another review the weather was rainy but Steve completed the deck in mid-June. The deck is great! I love it! Steve did a great job! However, the grill deck was too small for my grill. Admittedly the weather had an impact and the back door was not instaled at the same time as the deck. Steve finally replaced the back door and fixed the grill deck in late November and early December and, again, did a tremendous job! Better late than never. Although there was some absence of communications, Steve is an honest and honorable businessman and takes great pride and skill in his work! I whole heartdly recommend him!

We signed a contract on May 10 for a second level deck on the back of our house with a custom door, picture window and awning, the work to be done in late July. I am on blood thinners and since the side of my house was going to be opened up I wanted it to be warm out. Also, we were going away for a week in June and wanted the work done after we got back. So basically he had more than 2 months to get things ready to do the jobI contacted him after the July 4 weekend to tell him we were ready whenever he was. He said he was a little behind because of the rainy spring. OK, not a problem. Did not hear from him for 2 weeks, so I contacted him again. Again, we were next on the list. When I contacted him in August, he did not respond. In the last part of August, I got the excuse that one of his guys had broken his wrist so that is why he was behind. I just let it go at that point to see if he would contact me. he did not. The second week of Sept. I sent an email stating that he had until the end of Sept to get my job done or I wanted my deposit back. His wife contacted me then and said he had been stung by wasps and could not work. I finally decided to give up and get my deposit back which he did do. I would never recommend him. Talks a great game but does nothing.

"I was concerned in reading this review, we don't get bad reviews and take this very serious. On 9/21/2019 We mutually and amicably agreed to cancel our contract. It was due to some unfortunate issues on our part and customers health issues. We communicated via several email and received compliments from the customer on how quickly we responded. We had the wettest summer in the recent history and accessing this property due to steep terrain and narrow access at this cottage, made it difficult in wet weather with my heavy equipment. We had to stay clear of the neighbors lawn also. We had a small window of good weather around the end of June but"

Greg the salesman was very responsive to my questions and arrived on the day of installation to see if I was satisfied. The owner and installation team were on time and started to work immediately. I was amazed at how quickly and efficiently the work was done. Everyone knew their responsibility and went about their task like clockwork. The windows are great and the installation was professionally done. I'm very pleased.

3-5 New Window Installation
They were fantastic!! Customer service is great, very responsive to questions & concerns. We got exactly what was shown to us, the windows are wonderful and the install was phenomenal!! They go out of their way to make their customer happy. Would recommend them to EVERYONE!! (I don't usually give reviews like this. They want their customer happy and it is obvious they are willinng to work hard to achieve tihs.)

This company was very easy to work with! Dan sold me the windows for my commercial building and explained the warranty. I did look at other window contractors, but Home Energy Solutions had the best price for energy efficient windows and best warranty. The warranty actually comes from the manufacturer, not the installer! (If the installer leaves or closes his business, I'm still covered with a great warranty.) The installation went smoothly. My building's windows were 60 years old and were drafty. The new windows are amazing! I can already feel a difference in the inside temperature. The installers were meticulous! Brad is a craftsman! Every caulk bead was perfect, he was able to bend metal right at his truck. The windows look beautiful. I have to say they look better than the windows I put in my home with a very high end company! One last thing; the owner, Steve Colegrove, came over while the installation was occurring and inspected the work. I appreciate his attention to detail and maintaining the reputation of his business. I will be using this company again.

Overall good experience. Nice windows , great installation team. There was a mix-up with the storm door I wanted, and it was installed 2 weeks after the windows. But 2 screens arrived torn and they were fixed quickly by the owner.

Overall, I had a good experience with Home Energy Solutions. They have me a good price and that price didn’t change once the work began. For me, that’s one of the most important things. There were a few hiccups with the screen door that they were going to install. It was damaged. There was also an issue with the wrong window being installed (I was supposed to have half frosted glass in the bathroom window, but a regular one was install instead). I’m told that these two issues will be resolved and I believe them.

Dan called the same day I looked for someone to replace the windows in our home. He showed us the windows, and worked with us to determine the types of windows we needed. He came with one of the installers to measure the windows the same week so it was done before our vacation. When the windows came in, they worked with us to have the windows installed at our convenience. When the installers arrived, cloths were put down to protect our carpets. The windows were installed quickly and with care. The windows were trimmed on the outside, insulation was added and the windows were tested to be sure they opened easily and locked with ease. The old windows were removed and taken away. The storm windows were removed and taken away to be recycled. Our lawn was picked up removing all traces of having the windows replaced. Our new windows are wonderful. Our picture window with 2 small double hung windows was replaced with two double hung windows. What a difference it makes to the light entering the livingroom. Those two windows will also allow a lot of fresh air into our front room when the weather is hot. I would recommend Home Energy Solutions to anyone looking for replacement windows.

3-5 New Window Installation
Ordered new Windows on 5/27. One was delivered incorrect. Reordered it and I'm still waiting for both windows to be installed and it is July 10th.

"These two Windows were ordered the following week as promised, due to a wrong entry by manufacture one window was reversed in size therefore it wouldn't fit. Due to all the excessive rain and insurance requirements not allowing us to install in rain and Our schedule is very full and we made an attempt to set an install date as soon as the window came in from the manufacturer, The date was not good for the customer, fortunately we were able to set a date on 7/23 (Sunday) and windows were installed. Customer very happy and all is resolved. Customer got a great energy efficient window at a reasonable price."
