Very disappointing. During installation, worker placed foot into attic floor, causing cracking/collapse of ceiling in room below. Company (Mark Bradley) initially denied having caused damage. Obtained estimates for ceiling repair. Mark attempted his own "temporary" drywall repair (to help prevent complete ceiling collapse and spilling of insulation). By the time drywall/paint expert came out to repair ceiling, Mark's "temporary" repair had failed. This necessitated an additional and unexpected day of work for drywall/painter. Mark then refused to pay the entire repair bill, and enclosed a nasty/unprofessional hand written note to his partial reimbursement. A complete lack of professionalism, and lack of accountability/responsibility.

"Michelle K waited over 3 months after the job was completed to call me and demand repair or restitution. I went to look at it the next day and was still skeptical, but I came back the next day to replace a small section of cracked sheetrock. We blew in new insulation to make it look good and cleaned up everything. I told her it was just the first coat of mudd and suggested she get quotes from a painter she liked, and I would pay for it. We settled on a price, and the work was completed. Afterwards she told me he needed a gallon of paint and it would be almost 40 dollars more. I sent her a hand written note explaining that I didn't agree to that and a check for 275.00, the original amount. I did everything I could to satisfy her except to cave into the last minute demand."

I’m glad I chose Energy Solutions. Mark B., was knowledgeable, business friendly and responsive with answering all my questions about the project from beginning to end. He provided great service and gave me two quotes on one job. The attic is fully insulated now and looks great! More importantly, my upstairs area feels a lot better - I should definitely see a reduction in heating/air costs over the next years and I qualify for the Duke Energy rebate!
