"The client was given a detailed estimate for all the furnishings that were discussed. It never included labor, such a the painter or carpet installer. If the client had read the estimate they'd see that those costs were never included. The client ordered a custom sofa which, when delivered he did not like. He was offered a discount IF HE WERE TO KEEP THE SOFA. He decided not to keep the sofa and was refunded the FULL AMOUNT originally paid. But he wanted a refund for the discount offered too- which is ridiculous since he did not keep the item. I am sorry for the misunderstanding. But his living room looks great."
"Value for money has to do with HOW and IF the client asked for help. I did everything that was asked which was primarily for ideas for accessories. My retainer fee still holds into the future. I am on call for them when they resume their project. They were satisfied with the quality and the service."
