They came in on the bid more cost effective. They also would remove the plaster down to the granite. This is why we chose them. Their attention to detail was lacking. They didn't schedule the appointments ahead of time but would call the day before and said they would be there which was lucky for them that we were there. The work itself seemed to have to many shortcuts. They left the stairs uneven on the side. It is more of a cosmetic issue, but it should have been done right. We even talked to him about it and he acted as though it wasn't a big deal. When he was putting the chemicals in the pool, he didn't evaluate the pH, etc of the water, he just put the chemicals in there without knowing what it really needed. They would always leave their lunch scraps and a mess every day. Their professionalism was lacking but the pool did come out ok due to the fact that we went out and researched the water setup. The care of the pool and plaster in the first two weeks is extremely important and he was willing to put in some acid that would have damaged the plaster.
