Everything about working with Environmental Comfort was excellent. Price was significantly less than other companies and their work and equipment was super along with their customer service. They not only replaced my HVAC system but all of the ductwork under the house in 2 days. I recommend that you give them a call if you need a new or replacement system.

After numerous HVAC replacement estimates from 5 different businesses I decided to purchase a new air conditioning unit from Environmental Comfort Heating and Air. They sell several different brands, including Goodman, Rheem, Ruud, and Trane and are a Duke Progress Energy certified installer (important if you're looking for a electricity energy efficient rebate - for higher SEER rated systems). Dominion Energy also offers energy efficient rebates if you purchase a gas furnace (as part of a new HVAC system). Environmental Comfort Heating and Air owner John Van Order was very knowledgeable, personable, and didn't try to up sell me. The lead technician installer Kevin Harbig shared a lot of HVAC information with me, which I liked. I recommend them on price, knowledge, professional ism and I had a good overall experience.

We had a mini split unit installed by Environmental Comfort. John was great. Gave us a quote and no pressure to commit. We had other companies quote us - his was the best. Happy with his quote and had his techs install. Techs were great. Friendly, explained what they were doing and gave us a quick run through on the unit. So far so good.

I was totally pleased with this experience. The owner, John, gave the quote and the technicians who installed the new unit were very competent and easy to deal with. Enviromental Comfort is smaller Heating and Air company so we worked directly with John, the owner. John was very easy to work with. He was courteous, on time, and knowledgeable. Applied no pressure in giving me quote, didn't try to sell me anything I didn't need, and gave me the best price. His installers Kevin and Brian were great. Answered many questions we had on the install, and provided several tips to keep the unit running effectively. Overall a very good experience. Highly recommend Environmental Comfort.

I found Jim, the owner, an educated and quite a pleasant person who is sincere and offers his services according to customers' needs and expectations. He is always on time and manages a group of other hard-working professionals who install the equipment and take care of ductworks. The ones who worked on this project were Kevin and Zack who did a commendable job.
